You don’t need to have ever painted before to come to one of our events. Take a look at our calendar and choose the artwork you’d like to recreate. We walk our guests through creating their own version of our theme in easy to understand stages. You will be amazed at what you can achieve whilst having fun with friends, online or at our popular locations throughout the UK.

Had a fab evening painting a wonderful, colourful puppy. Bea, as always, guided us through the process and then encouraged us to be creative with our colours. It was a lively class in Watford, but we all had a great time and ended up with a lovely piece of individual art. Looking forward to my next class in 2 weeks time

Great atmosphere, cant believe I created a painting that looks 'presentable' as I don't have an artistic bone in my body! A lively fun atmosphere. Personally I could have benefited from a slower pace on some of the instructions, particularly on paint mixing, but as a novice perhaps i was a tad slowCant believe I am saying this butI will be back..Thank you Bea

This was my 5th Brush Party with Bea and was really enjoyable. The venue was lovely, the picture we painted was great, and Bea as always made it a really enjoyable evening. I’ve already signed up for two more events with Bea this month as I find it is a great way to relax and lose my thoughts into creating a lovely painting. My husband was super impressed with my cow painting - he said he can’t stop looking at it. Thank you Bea and thanks to your husband too who kept my paint pallet fully loaded. See you next week

Bea & her husband were amazing! Everything was ready and set up. Bea gave step by step instruction's for us to paint the perfect picture. Checking and showing the group the right colour and mix. While her husband made sure we had enough paint, tissue etcI have had so many compliments on my painting (which I’ve never done before) and my friends are looking forward to doing a class too Very impressed. Our first time visiting and was for a date night. Bea and her husband were very welcoming, especially once learning it was our first time and having not picked up a paintbrush since primary school. The other guests were also very lovely. The class was instructed well, step by step process and Bea was always on hand and walking round to help/advise. I loved it so much I booked another class once I got home. All materials are supplied and you get to bring your painting home as a memorable keepsake. Wonderful.

An evening out with a few friends whom had never tried beforethey (& I) loved it :)
Bea has an amazing way of teaching the whole class. Is approachable and has a lovely sense of humour.
We were given everything we needed and nothing was too much trouble.
I particularly like the way it the class came together and we were all friends by the endplus we got to take our masterpieces home for all to see.

We have thoroughly enjoyed the Bluebell wood painting class. Bea was amazing, she engaged with the whole class, advising and encouraging.
I joined my sister and her daughter for her birthday celebrations, the activity was so much fun and despite not having any experience in painting, we walked away with our very good looking paintings. The whole experience was fabulous.
I will definitely return for more classes and feel like this would be a really good new hobby.

I attended with my friend who has done a lot of painting and I hadn’t done any since school!
Bea was a very good teacher, she explained things clearly and went at a very good pace. She came round and helped us and made suggestions how to improve it.

A fun and relaxing evening! Teacher was lovely, really approachable to ask for help, her husband was lovely too handing things out and clearing things away. Never, ever thought I could create something like this! I thought it was good value for money and definitely want to go again. The difficulty is choosing which one!

All our materials were provided and were set up ready for us to begin the Paint and Sip class. We could have as much as we needed to get the painting finished which was good to know.

Bea is a great instructor, even when I look at the picture and cannot imagine producing a half decent replica it always turns out better than I expected and the equipment provided always meets my needs and I arrive early to grab some food before we begin. Even if you go alone the othe participants are friendly and make you feel welcome. A relaxing evening out

We went as a group of 6 friends from work. It was such a good way for us to let down our hair. Bea the artist was amazing and talked through each step and was always there for when we needed help or guidance. It was fun, pushed us out of our comfort zones. All materials were provided and we was shown how to use each brush for the styles. We will definitely be coming back again!

What a great evening learning to paint … in a pub what could be better… it doesn’t matter if you have no experience the teacher goes through each stage … everything is provided, and you get to take home your own piece of artwork very good value for a night out with friends

The teacher (Bea) and her husband made a really great team in facilitating our art class. Bea took her tike in explaining how to maximise use of the brushes and colours. It was taught at a pace that was easy to follow and we were really happy with the results.
The venue of the Crown was perfect because the classroom was the perfect size for the group and was gorgeously decorated for Christmas.
I came to this one with my daughter but would be happy coming alone on future.

We painted winter waddles and it was such a cute painting. Bea was great. Maybe a bit quick but with only 3 hours to paint a picture, you can't go slow! The location was great, parking was good and the pub was nice. Equipment was great, no complaints

I just came back from the brush party at the Old Barge in Hertford and absolutely loved it. I wasn't sure if I wanted to go since I was going on my own but now I'm so glad I did. Not only did I get to take home an alright piece of art, the evening was such great fun and I learned a lot more.
Bea is a fantastic teacher/host and gave me lots of individual advice which I appreciated. My art skills are below average but I felt welcome and well looked after.
The Old Barge as a venue was perfect, it's my favourite pub in Hertford anyway because of its cosy and warm atmosphere and this evening was a huge success.
Thank you all so much for creating and hosting such an awesome event, I'll recommend to everyone I know.

This was my friend and i’s first visit to a Brush Party and we loved it! I am NOT a painter or creative at all, I really thought I had messed up the colouring but my penguin looks incredible and that is due to the expert support from Bea! Don’t hesitate to book a party with Bea, it was fabulous!

The class was so much fun! Bra, the teacher was great and had patience for us despite us all asking how to make the same colour over and over again! There was no shortage of materials and if we needed more paint it was readily available. My paintbrush was a bit splitty at the end so I couldn't get a sharp point no matter how much I tried but I made do and tried to use it to my advantage. The venue was great, nice and spacious. Will definitely be booking another one soon!

Bea was amazing, she did a great job explaining this picture. By far the hardest one yet. But great fun. Lots of green shades & tricky grass & flower strokes. Roll on the next one!

I came on my own but didn't feel lonely. Teacher was great and I learned how to cover mistakes and create different effects with different types of brushes. Everything is provided so you just need to turn up. I love my painting!

Teacher very good. I don't think I will sit in same place next time as had trouble seeing her instructions. Venue OK but some of the customers in the pub were very loud so I had trouble hearing. Would definitely do it again though

I have always liked drawing/painting but if I’m honest, I only manage the odd ‘good’ doodle! However my canvas which I completed from a class with Bea is beautiful. I never realised how enjoyable and simple it could be to make something like that. Bea was great, she was patient and took us all through the process step by step. Will definitely attend another session and will definitely recommend.

Absolutely loved the experience from beginning to end. The teacher Bea supported all of us through the step by step process of creating our Summer Meadows today in such an encoyraging and delightful way. The venue was ideal for both myself and my mate to get to and staff very friendly. Loved the other participants too. Such a wonderful experience would definitely recommend.

Bea is a great teacher and offers help when things do not quite go according to plan. The fish was more difficult than the hare, but learning how to correct adding too much black paint was a valuable lesson. Sometimes less is more.

Bea was brilliant, taking us step by step through the creative process. We had everything we needed - canvas, paint, brushes, and more paint when we messed up! I was amazed that I managed to turn an blank canvas into a great painting. The evening was fun and I would definitely want to attempt another painting.

We arrived and the venue was inviting with a special room dedicated to the party, with access to outside so was airy. Bea and her husband helper were personable and helpful. I went with my friend and we thoroughly enjoyed a bit of me time and producing something worthy to hang on my wall. Highly recommend.

I really loved this class, I was so pleased with my hare, I’ve not really painted before so I learnt a lot eg how holding the brush can change the way the paint goes on. The teacher was helpful, approachable and explained things in easy steps for a beginner like me. I will definitely go again, so much fun.

Well this was my first time putting brush to canvas since I was at primary school so I was a bit anxious of messing up. But Bea quickly made me feel at ease and showed and guided us at each stage. It was great fun and I came away with a new found appreciation for painting. And although far from perfect, I’m quite proud of the finished painting. Really hope to be joining Bea again soon!

Lovely evening spent with my friend we were well guided through the various layers of the painting. It helped having the pictures up on the wall and the teachers walked us through the painting. Very pleased with the end result

To be honest I’d love to review the class but unfortunately I didn’t make it, not for the want of trying. Admittedly I went to the wrong location first but then when I used the link from my email that also took me to the wrong place! Please see photo as to how the link doesn’t include the full address when clicked on… this might need updating moving forward so the same mistake can be avoided in the future. I hate being late so in the end I just gave up. I was gutted to miss the class as actually it was my idea and I’d booked it for myself and some of my oldest friends.

The teacher was very friendly and went at a pace that was easy to follow. She paid great attention to ensure we were all happy with each step of the process.
The pub location was great as we had lovely food beforehand.
Overall a brilliant night, with friends, and a few spontaneous sing alongs to the background music.

An excellent event! Bea was a fabulous teacher - very clear and super encouraging. The resources were great and all set up ready for us when we arrived. This is the first time I have attended an event like this and I will definitely be back. Whilst everyone was working on the same picture, we all mixed our own colours, used our own brush techniques and consequently, all came home with a very unique master piece. Highly recommended!

This was my second Brush Party. Such a great evening. The total easy step guidance from beginning to end turns everyone into an artist whether of not you e ever picked up a brush before. The only be result when you look at what everyone has achieved is amazing. Such a mindful way of spending a few hours with a stunning picture to take home at the end of it. Great value for money with everything from aprons to canvass provided. Can’t recommend it enough! Thanks for a great night!

I really enjoyed the meeting.
Bea was excellent.
The only thing I felt as I was sitting at the back of the class I couldn’t hear what see was suggesting we so that well. I also thought that being at the back it wouks have been nice if she came over to the back of the class a little but more.
I would do another class as I really did enjoy find my old creative self again.

Bea was really helpful and so encouraging. It was fun using gold paint this time and our FINGERS (who'd have thought adult finger painting could be such a laugh). Drinks are reasonably priced at the Tudor too so that's a bonus. The thing I especially like is seeing how different everyone's artwork turns out, it's great seeing the individual takes on what we're painting x

A great way to switch off and spend some time with friends but equally is an activity that you could attend on your own. I've done a number of these now so ready to start my own gallery ;)

I don’t even know where to start, the layout of the room was great, you could socialise, but you could also easily see the teacher.
The teacher was phenomenal and broke everything down into tiny little steps, she made everything so easy.
The supplies were great and the assistant was always on hand with extras and any help needed.
We really, really enjoyed it and will definitely be booking to come again, I can’t praise it enough! I’ve told everybody to book already today!
The best part for me though was the bonding experience with my dad and getting to watch him fall back in love with painting.
