Bronze Dagger Pendant in Metal Clay Workshop

Join me for this unique Bronze Metal Clay Alchemist Workshop in Cardiff, where you'll create your own solid bronze decorated dagger pendant from metal clay.Using real bronze metal clay, you'll sculpt and decorate a miniature fantasy-inspired dagger before it's transformed into solid bronze in the kiln. No previous experience is needed. I'll guide you through every step in a relaxed, friendly environment.What you'll do:

• Learn the basics of working with bronze metal clay.
• Use 15g of bronze metal clay to create your dagger pendant, with 2g reserved to make slip for attaching decorative elements.
• Create the base shape of the miniature dagger by using a mould and then add in details as you like by using simple hand-building techniques.
• Personalise your design with one gemstone and a selection of miniature moulds and decorative textures to create a truly unique piece.

At the end of the workshop, your pendant will be carefully taken away for firing and finishing in my kiln. During firing, the clay is transformed into solid bronze through a process called sintering. Your finished pendant will be polished and returned to you within 2 weeks, supplied on your choice of a 16", 18", 20" or 24" leather or cotton black cord, or as a keyring if you prefer.You'll gain new creative skills, a Metal Clay Alchemist Certificate, and a handcrafted solid bronze dagger pendant that's completely unique to you.
