  • 5/5 from Jayne Ralls, attended Aug 2026: I was the only one signed in for this workshop so had the privelage of having a one to one class with Lee who was friendly and informative. I got to learn a lot more about how to use my phone more productively to get a better picture and some clever ideas and helpful tips. All in all a great gift and a cracking evening out, all whilst learning in an enjoyable manner. Highly recommend and thank you to Lee for the notes afterwards as well

  • 5/5 from Wendy Primmer, attended Jun 2026: Lee was very professional On time, friendly and kept things moving so that we covered a lot of ground but at the right pace I learned a lot about the settings and options on my iPhone and also how to use the free app Snapseed effectively Lee does not use an iPhone so he is familiar ROH different types of mobiles
  • 5/5 from Richard Jones, attended May 2026: I had a great evening wandering around the harbourside, helped by the amazing weather! I learnt about lots of features on my shartphone camera that I didn't know about and different possibilties to take pictures.
  • 5/5 from Jenny Johnston, attended Mar 2026: Well worth every penny. Throughly enjoyed and came away having learnt more than I expected. Thank you
  • 5/5 from Fiona Douglas, attended Mar 2026: Really great few hours with Lee. The course is perfect for those who mainly point and press and haven't explored all the settings you have. I feel like I was relatievly adept but still learnt a whole bunch and got some really nice shots of the city even despite the weather!
  • 5/5 from Lisa Wills, attended Feb 2026: Had a wonderful time on my class with Lee and learned tons about how my phone camera worked. Highly recommend to anyone interested in taking better pictures.
  • 5/5 from Matilda Bethell, attended Jan 2026: Really enjoyable and informative. Lee was fantastic! I was gifted the experience, and it was very easy to redeem. I would highly recommend for anyone who has an interest in photography. There is a lot I will take away for sure!! Also, I have a pretty random smartphone, and this created no barrier to the experience.
  • 5/5 from Philippa Cook, attended Oct 2025: Lee was an exceptional teacher….. lots of clear instructions and examples before showing me on my phone and then letting me have a go. So many simple but effective ideas…. then showed me round a free editing app. Would love another session doing night photography….
  • 5/5 from Erica Hansen, attended Aug 2025: Lee is a fantastic teacher. I had no idea how many things can be done to make better photos on your phone. And the editing tools were great, too. He opened our eyes on how to take good pictures.
  • 4/5 from Elizabeth Brown, attended Aug 2025: The session was very well run covering a lot of material in the time and Lee explained techniques and ideas clearly with time to practise and ask questions. Bristol harbourside was a good choice of location with a range of subject material available in one place. There was a lot of information to take in and Lee assured us that notes will be sent. I think it might have been helpful to have the notes provided during the actual session though for easy reference and to use for practice as soon as needed. Overall, it was a very useful session to learn how to get the best from my phone and to think more about interesting and more effective composition. The editing focus at the end was also very helpful.
  • 5/5 from Mark Beaney, attended Jul 2025: Really knowledgeable and fun class
  • 5/5 from Jennifer Chatwin, attended Jun 2025: I learned an awful lot about the features on my iPhone camera and tips for taking great pictures. Lee was patient with my many questions and beginners knowledge of photography and the camera features. I would definitely recommend and look forward to taking some more interesting photos.
  • 5/5 from Tom Ashfold, attended Mar 2025: Very enjoyable and informative morning. Thanks Lee.
  • 5/5 from Sue Baker, attended Jan 2025: I really enjoyed this short course and learnt loads of new things. Lee was a great tutor giving us a broad range of techniques to try out plus plenty of personalised advice and support. We spent one and a half hours taking photos then half an hour over coffee looking at the results and learning about software to help improve our photos. A great introduction that enthused me to do better when snapping! Highly recommended. Thank you Lee.
  • 5/5 from Martin Brown, attended Jan 2025: Excellent overview of using a Smartphone to take good quality pictures. I was totally unaware of the possibilities and features available.... until now!
