Join this bridal party embroidery workshop in London and experience a wonderful, hands-on way to celebrate the bride-to-be with a beautiful personal touch.
Perfect for first-timers and seasoned stitchers alike, this relaxed session is a great place to start if you've never picked up a needle before. Your encouraging teacher will guide you step-by-step through simple embroidery techniques, making it incredibly easy to switch off, share stories, and craft custom pieces together without any pressure.
This experience draws inspiration from beautiful wedding traditions found across many cultures – where close friends and family come together to craft handmade embroidered items for the couple (just like Angelina Jolie's famous wedding veil, which featured drawings by her children!). It's a heartwarming alternative to the usual party plans, focusing on quality time together and slowing down to make memories.
You can choose exactly what you would like to customise to create a truly one-of-a-kind keepsake:
  • Veils and handkerchiefs – Add delicate patterns, meaningful dates, or sweet initials.
  • Scarves and garments – Stitch lovely motifs that she can wear long after the big day.
  • Sentimental keepsakes – Create a unique heirloom packed with love from her favourite people.
By the end of this uplifting workshop, your group will have shared a beautiful, bonding experience that turns simple threads into lasting memories. You'll all walk away with a collection of stunning, custom-stitched treasures ready to surprise the bride on her special day.
Please note: You must provide the fabric items you wish to embroider yourself (such as veils, handkerchiefs, or scarves).

I love bringing vintage fabrics back to life with embroidery and upcycling. Initially introduced to sewing and crochet by my mum and gran, I drifted away from the craft in my teens. However, later rediscovered my passion for needlework and fully embraced it.
I enjoy the playful aspects of embroidery, preferring a style that's whimsical and not overly precise. I hugely value sustainability and support local initiatives. I take discarded fabrics and transform them into something beautiful, giving them a new purpose.
I've been called eccentric, creative and fun-loving which I am all over! I love learning and teaching and feel that nothing is too weird. My workshops are not only about learning a skill, but also about connecting with others and promoting sustainability through mending.
