What you'll do
Enjoy a fabulous Saturday morning crafting, enjoying a light lunch and refreshments. Embark upon the world of resin and learn how to embed real dried pressed flowers into jewellery and accessories. Spend time at the newly converted Georgian creative space, The Artpad, in central Bath on the prestigious Great Pulteney Street.Led by Emma from Nature's Inspiration, this is a wonderful activity for anyone looking to learn a new skill in a beautiful and inspiring setting. Arrive at 10.30am to commence your crafting session, focusing on working with the premixed UV resin and a selection of hand-pressed dried botanicals. Working with premade silver/gold/rose gold plated bezels (on either a stainless steel or alloy base), you can create:
- A unique pendant
- A set of botanical hairgrips
- A floral ring
- A pair of cufflinks
- A pair of floral studs or dangly earrings
- A bookmark
- A brooch

Furloughed from swim teaching (baby & child) in Lockdown 2020 I spent lots of time in the garden with my son as we had an incredible summer. We got my trusty flower press back out and began collecting pressed flowers. The collection began to grow and I wanted to preserve the colour and cheerfulness of nature and give it to others during this difficult time. Exploring social media I discovered a local small company working with vegan and non-toxic resin which allowed me to fulfil my idea. I'd explored many hobbies and crafts over the years and went back to jewellery. From here I was hooked and started selling at craft markets and Etsy - Nature's Inspiration - inspired by nature, created by Emma was born! I only work with a high standard resin and began tutoring workshops a few years ago now. I'm lucky to tutor regularly at Highgrove Gardens and Lechlade Craft Barn to name a few!
