Kelly Burton Artist Blacksmith

I am a born and bred 'Norfolk'n' but currently reside in Northamptonshire.
I studied a foundation degree at Loughborough University in 2006 where it was my intention to become a fine art painter; perhaps it was my obsession with painting fire that led me to become a blacksmith... The fire does provide beauty within the flame.

2007-2010 was spent at Hereford College of Art & Design where I got a first class degree in artist blacksmithing.
2011-2012 was spent working with others and setting up my own business in Norfolk. Which continues on to this current day, in Northamptonshire, at The Old Dairy Farm Craft Centre.

2021 - Awarded AWCB (Associate of the Worshipful Company of Blacksmiths) Diploma of Merit
2021 - Featured in March/December issue of the Artist Blacksmith Magazine
