This workshop is best suited for those with a little bit of experience who would like some guidance to help build their confidence in basic dressmaking techniques.
What to bring
You will need to bring your own fabric. Lauren recommends either cotton, linen, denim, or blended fabric. Knitted fabric (e.g. jersey) is not suitable. It is advised to pre-wash the fabric before cutting in order to obtain optimal shrinkage during future use of the apron.Fabric Quantity: 1.5m - 2m length, minimum 140cm width.You are welcome to bring a lidded bottle of water with you, but we kindly ask that you do not bring food into the studio.Refreshments are available at our on-site café, Blend, until 4pm.
