What you'll do
If you are new to patchwork and quilting, this is a great place to start. This project uses pre-cut fabric strips to minimise your cutting time and a strip quilting method for speed and accuracy
This workshop will include:
The Wonky Donkey quilt block
How to cut and assemble your blocks
How to accurately piece your patchwork
How to line up your sections for perfectly joined blocks
Simple quilting ideas and techniques
How to make and attach a quilt binding

Hi! In case we haven't met before, I'm Jen and I run Sew Forest of Dean, teaching all things with needle and thread. I'm qualified in City and Guilds and a member of the Quilters' Guild, so you can rest assured your tuition is in safe hands. All workshops take place in my purpose built studio in the beautiful Forest of Dean, where our days are fuelled by tea and homemade cake.
