Create a classic game with a handmade twist

2 x 1 hour

Class size 1 to 15 (public dates), 1 to 50
£35 (PayPal Pay in 3 available)

Create a beautiful handmade version of the classic game in this relaxing two-week air dry clay workshop. During the first session, you'll learn how to shape and build your own noughts and crosses board, along with a complete set of playing pieces using air dry clay. Guided step-by-step, you'll explore simple clay techniques to create a functional keepsake that is both fun to play and stylish enough to display at home. Your creation will then be set aside to dry before the second session.

In week two, you'll bring your game to life with acrylic paints, adding colour, patterns and personal touches to make your set truly one of a kind. Whether you choose a modern, rustic or playful design, you'll leave with a beautifully finished noughts and crosses game that's perfect for family games nights or as a thoughtful handmade gift.

A complete kit is included with your workshop, containing air dry clay, sculpting tools, acrylic paints and brushes, so you'll have everything you need to create your personalised game under the guidance of our expert tutor.

Your class will take place on Zoom, our online workshop platform. There’s no need to download anything—simply click the link provided in your booking confirmation to join the session at the scheduled time.

You’ll be sent a follow-up video after your workshop,  which will be live for 12 months afterwards to guide you in your own time.

This workshop is also available as a private workshop for group bookings of 5+.

 Keeping everyone safe

At Hobbycraft, we want our workshops to be enjoyable, inclusive, and safe for everyone. Some workshops are suitable for children, and where this is the case, a parent or legal guardian is responsible for supervising their child at all times unless the workshop is clearly stated as suitable for independent attendance. Our colleagues and instructors are there to guide the activity and support a safe environment, and if any concerns about safety or wellbeing arise during a workshop, these should be raised with a member of staff straight away.
