Q: How do I find the studio?
Address: Unit 5 Towngate Works Dark Lane Mawdesley L40 2QU When you enter the industrial estate, go straight ahead with the main building on your left, then turn left until you see Butties & Bakes and JS Ironing, there’s a white door next to JS Ironing, go through and up the stairs turning right at the top and it’s the second door on the right. It is advisable to screenshot these directions as the industrial estate doesn’t have a reliable mobile WiFi signal.
Q: Are refreshments provided?
Tea, coffee, hot chocolate and water are provided. Feel free to bring along your own snacks and drinks
Q: Does the studio have disabled access?
Regrettably as the studio is on the first floor and can only be accessed via stairs there is no disabled access. I can however offer private tuition at your own home (maximum 20 mile radius from Ormskirk).
Q: What's the cancellation policy?
A: Free to cancel or reschedule up until 3 days before the class

arrow_right_alt arrow_downward- Week 1: Cover the first 5 basic crochet stitches and have a go at the granny square. If you’re already confident in making the granny square, you can start your first hexagon.
- Week 2: Choose the colours you’d like to use for your cardigan.
- Week 3: ‘Try on’ your hexagons to determine the sleeve depth, then start adding body width and sleeve length.
- Week 4: Join your hexagons together to magically become a cardigan, with the option to add more body length, width, and sleeve length.
- Week 5: Continue to adjust the sizing and plan your neck and sleeve edgings.
- Week 6: Add your neck and sleeve edgings from a number of different options, and learn how to block out the shape for a nice even finish.
- Continue working on your hexagons at home during the week once you have your yarn.

Come and learn the wonderfully addictive and easy to master needle-felting, where you can ‘paint with wool’ creating beautiful vibrant landscapes. Or create one of our many cute creatures like Herdie the sheep and his many hobbies. Try your hand at wet-felting where you can create vases, bowls and beautifully embellished scarves, using just soapy water, gorgeous 100% merino wool and silk, bubble wrap and a sushi mat! We also offer all levels of crochet tuition and cover the many different types of crochet like mosaic, tapestry, filet lace, the list is almost endless.
