arrow_right_alt arrow_downward- You will sew 4.5-inch squares together to form a pieced cushion front in a layout of your choosing.
- You will learn how to piece (baste) the 3 layers together: patchwork top, wadding layer, and backing.
- Then quilt all three layers together to make your cushion front.
- You will finish by making an envelope-style back to complete your cushion.

What you'll get
- All materials and equipment will be provided, and you will go home with a finished 52x52cm patchwork and quilted cushion.
- Plenty of tea and coffee will be served throughout the workshop, along with freshly baked cake.
Knowledge required
Beginner-friendly - You must be able to sew a straight stitch on a sewing machine. More experienced sewers are welcome who would like to try patchwork and quilting.
What to bring
- A 52x52cm cushion insert for your finished cover.
- We won't have a formal lunch break, but please feel free to bring a packed lunch, which you can keep in our fridge.

I am Hannah, a self-taught Quilter and teacher based on the edge of the beautiful Peak District. I learnt to sew after my 3rd child was born whilst living overseas. I was looking for a creative outlet and discovered Patchwork and Quilting. I soon fell in love with the process, enjoying everything about making a quilt from start to finish. With over 10 years experience, I now share that love with others in the hope they too may discover a new passion. My home studio is located in Totley, Sheffield where I run 1:1 sessions in beginner Patchwork and Quilting and small workshops of 3/4
