If you've ever fancied learning how to whip up perfect macarons, join us in our brand new bake school to find out everything you need to know!
Led by professional pastry chef Sophie, you'll spend around three hours in a spacious kitchen learning how to make, fill, and finally decorate your own macarons. With a maximum of six people per class, you can be sure there'll be plenty of hands-on help, hints, and tips from the top. With tea and coffee provided throughout the session, you'll be able to stay refreshed and focused!
Don't worry if you're new to the world of pastries; this baking class is suitable for beginners – and you'll be guided every step of the way! So whether you're a complete novice or a piping pro, you'll be in safe hands.
At the end of the baking workshop, you'll walk away with 35 macarons and the recipe to carry on your patisserie adventure at home.
Notes:
This class includes the use of NUTS, EGG, MILK, and SOYA.

My Name is Sophie Lewis, I have been a professional pastry chef for 12 years and now own Pure Patisserie. After leaving catering college with level 2 in professional cookery I began in the work place as a commis chef at a four star country hotel. Since those early days I have gained a wealth of experience working in luxury hotels and high end restaurants, including three different Michelin starred restaurants.
My most recent role before starting my own business was that of Senior Pastry Chef at the Michelin starred restaurant in Claridges (formerly Fera) in Mayfair London. As well as running the busy section, my role at Claridges included testing and designing innovative desserts for the menu.
In February 2019 I established Pure Patisserie, in 2023 we transferred to a larger unit to enable our bake school and bespoke cake market to grow. Within the business we specialise in high end patisserie and cake production, including wedding cakes, afternoon tea and tasting menu events as well as our professional Bake School.
I love that we can offer a hands on baking experience in our fully equipped school, we find teaching and sharing our knowledge is so rewarding. Knowing we can help others to further their skills and find cooking from home an enjoyable and less stressful experience, is our main goal!
