  • 5/5 from Teresa Mason, attended Oct 2026: I had never made an Autumn Wreath before. The teacher was welcoming, friendly and knowledgable. I will be looking out for other classes to join.
  • 5/5 from Meera Jhumat, attended Oct 2026: Very theraputic and relaxing enjoyed my time at hobbycraft. I would definately recommend the workshop.
  • 5/5 from Leanne Taylor, attended Oct 2026: The autumn wreath making class was really fun. I never thought to make a wreath with embroidery hoops and jute twine. The teacher was lovely and really encouraged us to get chatting but also allowed the space for quite concentration. I'm looking forward to my next workshop!
  • 5/5 from Ayla Reeves, attended Oct 2026: I attended the Autumnal Wreath making class which was led by Sam. It was my first one but I really enjoyed it and Sam was so lovely and really helpful. Definitely recommend!
  • 5/5 from Louise Jones, attended Oct 2026: We booked an autumnal wreath making workshop and didn’t really know what to expect. We received a very warm welcome from Brad and Lisa and had an amazing evening. Brad was friendly and incredibly knowledgable. It really felt like an expert class rather than a workshop in a shop. He was encouraging in a way that made the class fun and created a chatty and friendly environment. We will be booking again and would highly recommend any workshop run by Brad. Thank you again.
  • 5/5 from Annette Barrie, attended Oct 2026: Rhona always leads a great workshop, very helpful and friendly. Glad the workshop was 90minutes as you need all the allocated time to complete the wreath.
  • 5/5 from Jude Temple, attended Oct 2026: Great workshop and I’m happy with my autumn wreath. Lovely tutor. Thanks a lot
  • 5/5 from Jayde Cooper, attended Oct 2026: Lovely workshop learning some new skills in wreath making. Relaxed atmosphere with a helpful teacher(sorry forgot her name!)

  • 5/5 from Lisa Groom, attended Oct 2026: Very enjoyable workshop and well set up. Perhaps could do to be two hours rather an hour and a half. Instructor was lovely and gave clear instructions to follow.
  • 5/5 from Teresa Trangmar, attended Oct 2026: The autumn wreath workshop was upstairs in the Bedford Hobbycraft store. I learned how to create the wreath frame with twine and embroidery hoops, and then how to arrange and glue the autumnal foliage to create my wreath. The tutor was knowledgeable and friendly. All the excellent materials were provided and I was able to take home any I did not use, for my own use on another project. A most enjoyable workshop. I particularly enjoyed learning a different way of making a wreath that I had not done before.
  • 5/5 from Mary Goudge, attended Oct 2026: Jacqui is an excellent tutor. Although I didn’t finish my wreath in the time (some arthritis in my hands slowed me down) I am confident on how to complete it at home. I liked the fact that I could take the remaining materials hime to make another one.
  • 5/5 from Hannah Bing, attended Oct 2026: Rachel was a brilliant teacher. She was attentive, caring and very knowledgeable. I really enjoyed my time.
  • 5/5 from Lesley Gregory, attended Oct 2026: Great fun! Sylvia was a brilliant teacher, she taught me so well and tactfully corrected my mistakes. My wreath will go on the door today. This was my first venture out after a long illness and I had been nervous. Thanks to Sylvia I had a most enjoyable time and I hope to attend future workshops.
  • 5/5 from Christine, attended Oct 2026: Autumn wreath making was a fun class really enjoyed it, thank you. Teacher was brilliant, explained everything clearly. Looking forward to doing another workshop again soon.
  • 5/5 from Claire, attended Oct 2026: Had a very relaxing and creative Sunday morning making my wreath with Anita, who was patient and full of ideas!
  • 5/5 from Lucy Caulfield, attended Oct 2026: I booked this workshop as a birthday treat for myself. Although the initial date was cancelled, it turned out to be a blessing in disguise; it allowed me to invite a friend I hadn’t seen in ages to join me, and we had so much fun. The instructor was friendly, supportive, and gave clear instructions throughout. The course is ideal for beginners and very manageable if you are new to crafting, but it also allows room for a creative design challenge if you want one. The group atmosphere was great, and we all had a good giggle working through the initial twine wrapping, which took a bit longer than expected. We stayed slightly past the finish time to complete a bit more and happily finished up at home. I added a few natural touches of my own: miniature pinecones and autumnal seed pods. The wreath is now hanging pride of place in my hallway, and I absolutely love the way the afternoon light catches it! Overall, it was such a great experience that we have already signed up for another course. Working full-time makes weekday daytime slots impossible, so it would be fantastic to see more weekend in-person courses available in the future. We have opted for an online course this time instead and are really looking forward to it.
  • 5/5 from Jill Urquhart, attended Oct 2026: I did the Autumn wreath making workshop. I was the only one and initially felt a little uncomfortable, but my teacher, Rebecca was very welcoming and friendly and we were soon chatting away while crafting. I really enjoyed the session and very happy with the end product. Everything was included and there was plenty. At the end I bought a couple of items and I am going to make another at home.
  • 5/5 from Anonymised ClassBento customer, attended Oct 2026: Was really fun making the wreath. No downside really other than could have been a bit longer, though wasn’t an issue as I got to take the flowers and twine home to finish.
  • 4/5 from Suzanne Whitnall, attended Oct 2026: How to make an autumn wreath. I was pleased with the finished article, and the tutor was good. She showed us what to do and helped when we asked.
  • 4/5 from Anonymised ClassBento customer, attended Oct 2026: It was a great opportunity to learn how to create an autumn wreath with a friendly teacher
  • 4/5 from Caroline Eccleston, attended Oct 2026: Two of us went to the Autumn Wreath Making Workshop and we both had a great time, the only downside was that we ran out of time to finish. Wrapping the twine around the base was very time consuming (although strangely relaxing) so 90 minutes wasn’t anywhere near enough time. I managed to rush some decorations on in the last 10 minutes but my sister hadn’t even finished the base by the time the workshop finished. I think it either needs to be a longer workshop, or the design needs to be simplified so it can reasonably be finished within 90 minutes. I’d still do another workshop though, it was a lot of fun!
  • 4/5 from Lorraine Irvine, attended Oct 2026: Trainer was lovely. No special occasion Atmosphere ok. The process of combining the two hoops with twine was not straightforward. Needed adhesive to keep the twine in place. I had to redo the twine several times to get it looking decent. Could do with more time to finish off the craft.
  • 4/5 from Anonymised ClassBento customer, attended Oct 2026: Emily was very good and professional. The atmosphere was friendly and relaxed. However none of the group completed a wreath, as the jute wrapping took almost all the allotted 1.5 hour workshop, leaving no time to adorn with the flowers- disappointing. The workshop time definitely needs to be extended
  • 2/5 from Anonymised ClassBento customer, attended Oct 2026: Brad led the workshop and he was honestly the best part of it; super friendly, so much fun, really made it a great experience. The actual craft was a bit of a let down though- having to spend the whole workshop just winding string around the hoops was frustrating and boring, with no time to decorate, not what I signed up for. The materials to decorate was also lacking. I'd maybe do another workshop at Hobbycraft if Brad was leading and you could be guaranteed to come away having created something at the end, but would not recommend the autumn wreath workshop.
  • 5/5 from Valerie, attended Sep 2026: I attended the autumn wreath-making workshop with my daughter and we had a lovely, relaxing, crafty afternoon. Our workshop leader, Chloe, was very friendly and helpful and we came away with finished projects that we were both very happy with.
  • 5/5 from Annette Cooper, attended Sep 2026: Excellent afternoon spent creating an autumn wreath, brilliant tuition and came home with a finished project thanks to our hobbycraft tutor
  • 5/5 from Rebekah Reeves, attended Sep 2026: Had a good time on my workshop. I was the only one and it was nice to get one on one teaching in my workshop. It was off the main shop floor so nice and semi private workshop area
  • 5/5 from Christine Milton, attended Sep 2026: The autumn wreath making workshop was relaxed and fun and a new skill was learned. Zara explained the process very clearly abd we could work at our own speed with no pressure. Thiroughly enjoyable.
  • 5/5 from Amanda Wadds Miss, attended Sep 2026: Great experience and tutor too. It was an Autumn Wreath making class. Great atmosphere and ended up being just myself and the tutor. I liked learning a new skill the most as I’ve always bought my wreaths.
  • 5/5 from Sarah Royle, attended Sep 2026: I would highly recommend this workshop (autumn wreath making). All the materials were supplied and the class was kept to a small number. The facilitator Zara was absolutely brilliant; patient, knowledgeable and helpful - 10/10!
  • 5/5 from Samantha Whitworth, attended Sep 2026: I booked the autumnal wreath making workshop and it was great. Just the teacher, Heather and myself. Heather was lovely and made this a really enjoyable couple of hours. She was very talented and guided me at my own pace plus gave me lots of tips. As someone who resides in a very small village with not much human interaction, it was really nice to have a chit chat about mutual hobbies and interests. Heather is an absolute credit to your Carlisle branch!
  • 5/5 from Laura Herst, attended Sep 2026: I booked this for my daughter and myself. We thought it was really good and the young lady doing it with us was delightful. Plenty of materials to make a very attractive autumn wreath. We were rather slow to get going but did get the hang of it. Unfortunately we didn’t have time to finish. One hour is not long enough to make a good product in my opinion but will look forward to finishing it soon.
  • 4/5 from Kathleen Parkin, attended Sep 2026: Booked up with a friend to make the Autumn Wreath. The teacher was lovely and made us all welcome.. Everything was out and ready for us to start. There were another two ladies there and it was a pleasant and friendly atmosphere. I liked that we were able to come away with a finished item and the leftovers to make another at home if we wanted.
  • 4/5 from Carol Montague, attended Sep 2026: I did the autumn wreath. Greta idea but time allowed wasn’t enough. I was the only person doing it which meant Christine and I had a good chat but it would have been good to be in a larger group
  • 3/5 from Marilyn Bennett, attended Sep 2026: The lady who ran the class was great but there was not enough time. The class ran over but only managed to do the string. Took flowers home to complete. Not impressed. Suggest you use someone who has never done wreath making before you set a time. I have made wreaths before and so has the lady but still could not finish.
  • 5/5 from Yvonne Meredith, attended Oct 2025: Gem was an excellent teacher showing us how to make our Autumn wreaths. There were only 3 in the class so we had plenty of attention. I now feel confident to. “ go it alone”.
  • 5/5 from Heidi de Wolf, attended Oct 2025: Jill at Lincoln beautifully and patiently explained every aspect and gave some helpful suggestions on how to make it unique. Thank you!
  • 5/5 from Janette Macdonald, attended Oct 2025: I thoroughly enjoyed this workshop. It has given me inspiration to be more creative in making wreaths. I found the workshop to be very relaxing and enjoyable. The kit provided was easy to work with and the instructor was very encouraging and pleasant
  • 5/5 from Susan Bowers, attended Oct 2025: I really enjoyed it, thank you. I would like to do another one if there are some more in person (not on line).
  • 5/5 from Angela Gallagher, attended Oct 2025: Saw the closs via a regular hobbycraft ideas email and thought I'd give it a try. I enjoyed the experience and using the glue gun etc. It was helpful to have all components provided and to get 'one to one' assistance and guidance when needed. The resulting autumn wreath looks great on the wall.
  • 5/5 from Keelan, attended Oct 2025: Really lovely workshop and great teacher! It was really relaxed and fun, and got to take home some spare crafty bits as well as my wreath.
  • 5/5 from Leela Burns, attended Oct 2025: Took my daughter in law for a treat as she hasn't been too well recently, we both enjoyed it enormously. Venue is local to us which is great. The teacher was very good, friendly and helpful.
  • 5/5 from Heather Beech, attended Oct 2025: The teacher was fabulous and kind and we had lovely time. Thank you. Two happy girls. She did need more plug sockets is the only feed back. Not her fault. Fabulous teacher explained everything well. She just needed more plugs so we could all use the glue gun at once.
  • 5/5 from Kruakae Pothong, attended Oct 2025: Great design and clear instructions. I thoroughly enjoyed the session. Got a beautiful wreath that I’m happy with in the end.
  • 5/5 from Anonymised ClassBento customer, attended Oct 2025: Sole attention of the person taking the class, I was the only student, really good
  • 5/5 from Helen Read, attended Oct 2025: Made an autumn wreath. The teacher (sorry I've forgotten her name) was very friendly and helpful. Gave clear instructions and showed us with her own wreath. Plenty of materials and space to work in. I'll be back
  • 4/5 from Julie Harris, attended Oct 2025: I enjoyed this workshop to help me get back to crafting again after a while not motivated
  • 4/5 from Summer Wong, attended Oct 2025: The teacher was very patience and didn't rush us. It was a nice little project. All materials were provided.
  • 3/5 from Suzy Harrington, attended Oct 2025: The girl teaching was okay, but did not get up to help the other person in the group when she was stuck. She did not give clear instructions or choices on how the wreath could be made. She just sat and made one for herself. The wreath was lovely when finished but no interaction.
