We welcome you to our Hoxton floral gallery, where you can sit down and relax in this mindful class and admire the seasonal ikebana arrangements.For tea lovers and curious beginners alike, you'll learn the differences between matcha (usucha) and other teas like sencha, genmaicha, and hojicha while discovering traditional brewing methods and the cultural significance of each variety.Guided by a knowledgeable and experienced tea master from Japan, you'll taste and compare teas, learn how to prepare matcha using a bamboo whisk (chasen), and gain insight into selecting and storing high-quality teas.Whether you're a casual drinker or an aspiring connoisseur, this authentic Japanese tea class will deepen your appreciation for the elegance and complexity of Japanese green tea. Please note this is not the same as matcha lattes. It is traditional Japanese matcha preparation without milk.
