Adult-Only Silent Creativity Session

Wren & Bramble began from a very personal place.After going through a difficult time, I found myself returning to creativity for the first time since childhood. Not with any intention of being “good” at it, but simply because it offered a sense of space, quiet, and release that I hadn’t found elsewhere. That experience stayed with me, and it shaped the idea for this space.I created Wren & Bramble as a calm, welcoming environment where adults can come exactly as they are, without pressure, expectation, or the need to have any experience. It’s not about teaching in the traditional sense, but about gently supporting people to explore materials, slow down, and reconnect with their own sense of creativity in a way that feels safe and accessible.My background is rooted in working closely with people across a range of settings. I am a (very nearly) fully certified Play Therapist, and have many years’ experience supporting children and young people, including those with SEND. I previously ran my own business delivering classes for parents and babies, and later worked within the local council as a neighbourhood group worker, facilitating a wide range of sessions including pre-birth support, baby massage, sensory development, toddler speech and language, parenting programmes, and wellbeing workshops.This experience has deeply shaped how I hold space: with care, flexibility, and an understanding that everyone arrives with different needs.While Wren & Bramble is not a therapy service, it is intentionally designed to feel supportive, regulated, and unpressured - something many people find beneficial alongside other forms of support.What I love most about facilitating these sessions is seeing the shift that can happen when someone realises they don’t need to be “creative” to begin. There’s often a moment where the pressure drops, and something softer takes its place: curiosity, play, or simply a sense of calm.Something that people often don’t expect is how powerful simple materials can be when there’s no outcome attached. It’s not about what’s made, but how it feels to make it.Wren & Bramble is also a Community Interest Company, which means it exists to benefit the community, with all profits reinvested back into the space and opportunities for others to access it.This isn’t about creating perfect pieces. It’s about creating space and connection. And that’s something I care deeply about offering.
