I have always been a lover of crafting, but found the art of embroidery to be my true joy!

I started stitching to help me focus and create time for mindfulness when I was diagnosed with Depression and Anxiety, and love sharing how this traditional art can do the same for you.

I teach from my studio in the Derbyshire Dales, with views of the local countryside, where time slows down and you can hear the birds singing. I take inspiration from the local flora and fauna for my embroidery. As an avid reader I also take a lot inspiration from classic literature.

I love designing embroidery patterns, making bespoke initial hoops, and I also create kits for people to make their own pieces of embroidery to hang up at home.

Creating is my life line, both physically and mentally, which means I put my heart and soul into everything I make, and I hope others can enjoy learning to do the same along with me.
