  • 5/5 from Melanie Knight, attended May 2026: Lovely time had with Beth, was able to learn at my own pace and decide where I wanted my focus to be. Loved it so much have signed up again.
  • 5/5 from Kay, attended May 2026: My second ceramics course at Brenley and I am hooked! I feel encouraged to give anything a go, Beth is a great teacher. The rest of the group are lovely. I have left with so many pieces I am proud of.
  • 5/5 from Diana Cairns and Belinda Human, attended May 2026: My mother has now completed 3 8-week session and each has been fun and unique. Beth does a terrific job meeting each participant where they are both physically and artistically and has been welcoming to other visiting family members who have joined for a single session class. She has projects for complete new comers (one of sons completed two mugs for uni and the other a lovely bowl) but also advises amazing, more technical work of more advanced potters. Additionally the space is wonderful - light and airy - and other class members convivial. Can't recommend highly enough.
  • 5/5 from Nicola Janes, attended Mar 2026: I signed up for this class to try something new and meet new people. The teacher is amazing and I have learned so much in the eight weeks. The atmosphere is relaxing and nothing feels rushed. I look forward to coming every week and have already signed up for the next course. The tutor is patient, supportive and experienced. She teaches each skill in a logical way, explaining the whys and wherefores, encouraging us to let our creativity flow. She demonstrates the difference methods in an easy to follow way and has a positive and attentive attitude which has boosted me to produce items I would have never thought I could make! The class is a real safe space to explore pottery and I highly recommend it. Plus it is in a stunning location and the studio is gorgeous and extremely well equipped.
  • 5/5 from Victoria Bignell, attended Mar 2026: I loved every second. Beth is a fantastic teacher - enthusiastic and full of humour - and my fellow potters were a very lovely chilled bunch. Sadly I cannot sign up for the next 8-week course and I will miss my wonderful Wednesday therapy sessions - making pots really is therapy. I shall continue to scribble ideas until I can come along again.

  • 5/5 from Pam McHale, attended Jan 2026: After a break from pottery had a taster day with Beth. It was great, came away with an amazing jug and my pottery mojo back. Just completed my first course and it was exceptional. Learnt more in the course than learnt in a years worth before and so eager to learn more. Venue is lovely, well equipped and conducive to learning and creative time. Beth is a great teacher, she makes you work but leads you through the processes and is responsive to your own ideas. A real creative experience
