She also taught me how to set a stone in a bezel and solder it securely onto a ring. The course was held in a relaxed home environment, and Carole was friendly, welcoming, and very supportive throughout. On the final day, I made a bezel-set stone ring for my daughter — and she absolutely loved it.

She has all the equipment and as I was the only one in the class I did get all the support I needed though I am used to less chat as I need to concentrate.The course takes place in Carol's home which was different for me. She has some very heavy equipment there that is not transportable so I understand why the class took place in her home. I think it was good value for money. Sorry review is late!

Hi my name is Carol. I started my jewellery journey at the tender age of 13, learning how to make beaded jewellery, before moving onto wire wrapping and eventually silversmithing. I had spent many years teaching before deciding to open my very own jewellery academy, where I could teach the jewellery subject areas I wanted to teach.In 2019, I finally took the plunge and La Jade Jewellery Academy was created, allowing me to teach what once started as my hobby and later turned into my passion..La Jade Jewellery Academy currently runs courses in various locations across Reading and Merseyside.
