6 Week Creative Therapy Course

Join this six-week creative wellness course at West Street Studios in Shoreham and rediscover what it feels like to make something just for the joy of it.Led by a qualified Occupational Therapist and experienced glass artist, this course is rooted in a genuine belief in the restorative power of creative practice. Each Thursday evening, you'll explore simple, accessible exercises – cutting and sticking, tearing and layering, mark-making and printing – in a warm, welcoming space designed to help you slow down and switch off from the week.This isn't about technique, and it's certainly not about producing impressive work. It's about making alongside others, without judgement or pressure. Each session builds gently on the last, starting with play and curiosity, and moving toward something more personal and reflective as the course finds its rhythm. You'll always be guided, but never told what to make.Over the six weeks, you'll fill the pages of your own visual diary – a growing record of colour, texture, and feeling that's entirely yours. But something else tends to happen too, something a little harder to put into words. You just start to feel more like yourself.This course is a particularly good fit if you:
