4 Day Immersive Pottery Wheel Throwing Course for Beginners

There's something that happens when you finally feel the clay centre under your hands. It's quiet, focused, and completely addictive, and once you experience it, you'll want more.This 4-day intensive gives you the time and space to learn to throw and practise. Not a taster. Not a one-off. A fully immersive experience where you start with a ball of clay on day one and finish on day four with a set of pieces you made entirely yourself - thrown and trimmed by your own hands.Each day builds on the last. You'll work through bowls, cylinders, vases, and handles, learning not just the techniques but the feel; how to read the clay, how to correct it, how to make it do what you want. We'll guide every step with patience, honesty, and a genuine love for sharing the craft.The studio is small by design. You'll get individual attention, real feedback, and the kind of progress that only comes from focused, supported practice.If you've been curious about the wheel, this is a great place to start.What's Included:

• All clay, tools, and equipment
• Up to 4 finished, glazed pieces ready to collect once fired. Additional pieces kept beyond those included are charged at £5 per piece
• Tea, coffee, and biscuits throughout the day
• Full guidance and support

Duration: 10am – 4pm each day (with a 1-hour lunch break at 12:30pm). The studio stays open until 5pm so you can carry on practising after teaching ends.No previous experience required.
