The instructor Sam, was friendly, patient, and explained everything clearly. The session was well organised, and I learned new techniques in a relaxed and welcoming environment. We left feeling inspired to continue developing our skills. I would highly recommend it to anyone interested in learning paper embroidery. Thank you Lisa and Elaine.

Sam was a brilliant instructor who guided us with clear step by step guidance but did not take over, so that we all created individual hand embroidered boats on our different nautical charts. Everything was well thought through and carefully planned and the initial practice, not on a chart, meant we learnt the stitches and made any mistakes that didn't effect our final piece. Go and be creative with Sam in lovely surroundings. I will definitely be booking another course with her.

It was a lovely afternoon, Sam is a friendly and helpful teacher, and although quite involved, she broke the process down into easy to learn pieces. There was a good choice of materials so everyone made a piece of work that they liked.

It was a calm relaxing atmosphere with oppertunity to chat and socialise and have a cuppa and also come away with our own materpiece. I was very impressed and enjoyed it greatly and hope to attend another workshop in the near future. So a big thank you. My son is now proud owner of the piece I did, shown below.

It was very satisfying learning new stitches and choosing the paper and embroidery threads we would use to achieve a boat and waves on navigational chart paper. I thoroughly enjoyed the class, as did my friends.

Sam is an excellent tutor who guided us through the process, answered our numerous questions. Would extend course to 2.5 hours to enable us not so quick sewers time to complete work.As Sam provides take home worksheets participants are able to finish pieces at their leisure. Many thanks Sam for such a lovely morning.
