Paint Your Own Pottery — a Family Workshop

Choose a piece, paint it your way, and we'll fire it into a keepsake to be treasured.

2 hours

Class size 1 to 6 (public classes), 5 to 10

  £12 - £20 (£12 for Extra child; £20 for Family place (1 adult + 1 child))

Bring the family along to North Anston, Sheffield for a relaxed pottery painting session, choosing a ready-made ceramic piece – a mug, bowl, plate, money box or little animal – and decorating it exactly however you like.
Everyone gets one pot each, with all the paints, glazes, brushes and aprons provided, so there's no need to bring a thing beyond your imagination. Fancy getting a little carried away? Extra pots are available to buy on the day for anyone who wants to make more than one.
Once you're finished, we'll fire your creations in the kiln to set them beautifully, then get in touch to arrange collection – or we can post them out to you for a small fee.
It's a wonderfully mess-friendly couple of hours together, with no experience needed and plenty of room for little ones to get stuck in alongside a grown-up. A brilliant one for the school holidays.
What you'll get
A hand-painted ceramic keepsake, glazed and fired to last forever — plus all the paints, glazes, brushes, and aprons you need on the day.
Knowledge required

What to bring
Just be yourselves! Aprons are provided, but wear something you don't mind getting a spot of paint on.

Hello, I'm Jacqui — the maker behind FaeCraft Workshops.
I've been creating as FaeCraft since 2017, and now I'm opening the doors to a warm, enchanting little atelier here in North Anston, Sheffield — a place where families and grown-ups can slow down, get creative, and make something special to take home and treasure.
From clay and pottery to fairy gardens, pebble painting, pot painting, and more, every workshop is relaxed, welcoming, and full of imagination — no experience needed, just a willingness to play. My favorite part is watching someone light up at what they've made with their own hands, especially the little ones creating alongside the grown-ups who love them. That's the heart of it for me: the smiles, the pride, and the memories made together around the table.
What makes FaeCraft a little different is the sprinkle of fairy-tale magic in everything we do — and a genuine, unhurried welcome for everyone.
Come and make something magical with us.
— Jacqui
