Experience the pure joy of cooking with the freshest ingredients, harvested straight from the garden!In this unique "Garden to Table" workshop, we'll venture into the garden to gather the day's bounty and then head back to the kitchen to transform our harvest into a delicious feast. Whether you're a seasoned gardener, a frequent visitor to the farm shop, or simply seeking culinary inspiration, this class offers a truly hands-on connection to your food. We'll create a selection of both sweet and savoury dishes together, and if the weather is kind, we might even cook some of our creations outdoors!Finally, we'll sit down to enjoy a vibrant lunch showcasing the garden's goodness, with plenty of leftovers to take home. Your teacher
My passion for cooking comes from my childhood. I was born on the island of Réunion, a small French colony off the coast of Madagascar. Although my parents moved to France when I was very small, the spirit of the island was very much alive in our home, and especially in our kitchen.I love introducing a touch of sunshine into my cooking and often add tropical flavours from Réunion to my desserts to give a vibrant twist to the elegant French classics. All the recipes used at Gourmandises Académie are my own, and each one has been developed with time and a lot of love. I’m so happy to have been recognised with three stars in the prestigious Great Taste Awards. I am excited to share some of these recipes with you and look forward to welcoming you into my home as a student of the Gourmandises Académie.
