Whether you’re a beginner looking to get to grips with wreath making or an experienced crafter looking for inspiration, this workshop is the perfect choice! It’ll help you prepare for the festive season with a handmade flourish that will transform your home.

The Hobbycraft colleague leading your workshop will take you through the steps of decorating your wreath with the embellishments included in the craft kit. They will also share excellent tips and tricks for styling the wreath along the way.

You’ll come away with the perfect decoration to suit the festive season! Display it on your front door and impress all the neighbours.

Please note, our workshop spaces in some stores are located in open areas and we will endeavour to minimise interruption from other crafters.

This workshop is also available as a private workshop for group bookings of 4+. Please note capacity varies per store. Please ask store upon request.

Keeping everyone safe

At Hobbycraft, we want our workshops to be enjoyable, inclusive, and safe for everyone. Some workshops are suitable for children, and where this is the case, a parent or legal guardian is responsible for supervising their child at all times unless the workshop is clearly stated as suitable for independent attendance. Our colleagues and instructors are there to guide the activity and support a safe environment, and if any concerns about safety or wellbeing arise during a workshop, these should be raised with a member of staff straight away.

  • 5/5 from Lesle, attended Nov 2025: Excellent small group and it was amazing that each wreath was different. The time went really fast and I would consider doing other workshop in the future. Would recommend these workshops to anyone, of any ability it was fun.
  • 4/5 from Sarah Herbert, attended Nov 2025: Lovely class - good value for money to cover all the materials which you get to take home if you don’t use it all!
  • 4/5 from Amanda Orme, attended Nov 2025: Friendly member of staff. We found an hour was too short. My friend hadn't finished and had to buy a glue gun in store to complete it.
  • 3/5 from Michaela Renouf, attended Dec 2024: Lovely staff and a lovely environment, just not quite what we were hoping for in terms of wreath making. Not the staff or workshops fault, just our preference, so if looking for natural wreath making, might not be the one for you. But good for wreath decorating!
  • 5/5 from Megan Ridd, attended Nov 2024: We had a great time making our Christmas wreaths on Saturday. Mandy was so lovely and super helpful. We would definitely recommend.
  • 5/5 from Sarah, attended Dec 2023: All the gear was available and we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. The one hour was not quite long enough and it would have been a rather nice touch to have had some form of refreshments - a cup of tea for starters
  • 5/5 from Lisa Holmes, attended Nov 2023: The class was fantastic I really enjoyed it, the lady who ran it was lovely and made it a lovely experience for me and my friend to make wreaths. I would definitely do one again. Highly recommended

  • 5/5 from Sally Old, attended Nov 2023: I thoroughly enjoyed this workshop today. Have not been to one before but the teacher (Chrissie) was very welcoming and extremely patient. She explained everything clearly and did not rush anyone. It was a small group of 5 people this morning which was perfect and allowed everyone to interact with each other and help out when necessary. Would definitely do another workshop in the future
  • 5/5 from Kerry Mackay-Carey, attended Nov 2023: I had a great time really enjoyed it teacher had lots of time and patience.
  • 5/5 from Rachael, attended Nov 2023: We had a lovely wreath making workshop, led by Joy at the Southampton store. Joy was friendly and helpful. We were in a studio room to the side of the store, and it was nice to not be on the shop floor. It meant we could relax and chat without worrying about disturbing other shoppers. The materials provided were good, as pictured in the advert. I feel it was good value for money considering it was a private workshop and at a time that suited us. Really enjoyed the wreath making experience and will be looking at future classes here, too.
  • 5/5 from Julie Harding, attended Nov 2023: Really enjoyed this class all materials were supplied. The teacher was brilliant explaining each step clearly and making for a very relaxed and fun class. My friend and I are very likely to book another class. The size of the class was great keeping it small meant that the teacher had time for everyone
  • 5/5 from Sharon Hannah, attended Nov 2022: Really enjoyed myself. Rachel was really helpful and friendly. Everything needed was included in the kit and I now have a mini glue gun to add to my crafting stash at home. Instructions were easy to follow and I’m pleased with my first attempt at wreath making.
  • 5/5 from Sarah Strathdee, attended Nov 2022: Venue was great, very knowledgeable teacher, great supplies, overall a really enjoyable session. Will definately book again.
