Keeping everyone safe

At Hobbycraft, we want our workshops to be enjoyable, inclusive, and safe for everyone. Some workshops are suitable for children, and where this is the case, a parent or legal guardian is responsible for supervising their child at all times unless the workshop is clearly stated as suitable for independent attendance. Our colleagues and instructors are there to guide the activity and support a safe environment, and if any concerns about safety or wellbeing arise during a workshop, these should be raised with a member of staff straight away.

  • 5/5 from Daniella, attended Nov 2025: This is the first time I’ve attended one of the hobby craft workshops, which was led by Sam. She was excellent in guiding us through our wreath making experience. Very friendly and helpful throughout! Will definitely be back to do a different workshop in the future!
  • 5/5 from Joanna Hobbs, attended Nov 2025: I had always wanted to try one of the workshops so decided to book on to this one because I love decorating for Christmas. The workshop was really good and our host Sam was very helpful, offering lots of advice for the class and some tips to take home with us too.
  • 5/5 from Kate Stone, attended Nov 2025: Christmas wreath with friends. I enjoyed the company and learning how to do attach it and making it look more appealing. Sam was our teacher and she was very friendly. Due to unforeseen circumstances she had to change materials which made the wreath more appealing in my opinion. Had to change dried orange to fake poinsettias due to delivery issues. Venue cold have been warmer.
  • 5/5 from Lidia Walsh, attended Nov 2025: A good way to get into the Christmas spirit. The workshop was entertaining. All materials provided included an artificial wreath as the base to add decorations. Sam, the instructor was kind, helpful and easy to communicate with. I booked to cheer myself up and I did. The venue is good, plenty of parking. Hobby craft have done well on holding workshops for people who enjoy doing something different. Thank you!

  • 4/5 from Sheila Routledge, attended Nov 2024: Was a bit unorganised to start with. It was set up for a different wreath to start with but we managed to do the traditional one in the end. Teacher was good & helpful. Was interesting learning how to make the poinsettia.
  • 3/5 from Anonymised ClassBento customer, attended Nov 2024: Mix up at beginning as tutor thought we were making something else! Very nice looking wreaths on side on display. When our wreaths arrived they were of a much cheaper design. They did not look at all realistic. I had intended to put the finished wreath on my front door but as so cheap looking wont do this. Tutor explained things well and helped us make the poinsettias and bow. Would have been better for her if she knew which workshop she was leading so she could have set up all the resources needed before we got there. I also burnt myself on the gluegun and blistered two of my fingers so not sure |I would want to do this again..
