Keeping everyone safe

At Hobbycraft, we want our workshops to be enjoyable, inclusive, and safe for everyone. Some workshops are suitable for children, and where this is the case, a parent or legal guardian is responsible for supervising their child at all times unless the workshop is clearly stated as suitable for independent attendance. Our colleagues and instructors are there to guide the activity and support a safe environment, and if any concerns about safety or wellbeing arise during a workshop, these should be raised with a member of staff straight away.

  • 3/5 from Sarah-Jane Knight, attended Dec 2025: Resource where not what expected, low equality. Technician had not made one before so was not particularly helpful but got an okay because she was friendly and when another person in the workshop asked for wired ribbon was able to gain approval for a better resource.
  • 3/5 from Anonymised ClassBento customer, attended Dec 2024: The staff member was very pleasant, but when we arrived we were told that the only wreaths available were the largest ones, unfortunately when we arrived home afterwards they were too big to put on our doors as originally planned so unfortunately we weren’t really able to use them in the end sadly there wasn’t really enough supplies to go on it to complete it luckily I bought some of my own decorations and some lights with me, the glue guns were faulty causing the glue sticks to melt into the middle of the guns and not the top, Despite all of this My Mum and I really enjoyed spending some very special time together and if all these points were taken into consideration we would definitely come again next time
