At Hobbycraft, we want our workshops to be enjoyable, inclusive, and safe for everyone. Some workshops are suitable for children, and where this is the case, a parent or legal guardian is responsible for supervising their child at all times unless the workshop is clearly stated as suitable for independent attendance. Our colleagues and instructors are there to guide the activity and support a safe environment, and if any concerns about safety or wellbeing arise during a workshop, these should be raised with a member of staff straight away.

  • 5/5 from Emma Howsam, attended Nov 2025: I chose this course as a nice way for my family to start celebrating Christmas. We attended the Christmas wreath class in Hobbycraft Harlow on Saturday just gone. The lady that took our class was lovely. She was friendly, helpful, and knew how to teach my group and the other two ladies in an encouraging and helpful way.
  • 5/5 from Sarah Gardner, attended Nov 2025: Lisa was brilliant, she made you feel at ease and gave you clear crafting instructions. The wreath and materials were good quality. It was a fun and enjoyable activity to start the festive season. Would highly recommend.
  • 4/5 from Joanne Buck-Marshall, attended Nov 2025: I made these with my mum. Really great, teacher was lovely and had the best time
  • 4/5 from Gillian Whitehouse, attended Nov 2025: My daughter and I like to do a workshop at Hobby Craft every Christmas. It has become one of our Christmas traditions. We always attend one in the Harlow store and then go over the road to the coffee shop and have a Christmas coffee and cake. This year we chose to make a door wreath and had a great time as all the items we needed to complete one were provided, and we then had the time to make it. If I had just been sent a kit in the post, it would not have been the same as it would probably have been left to one side and never gotten done, and we would not have had a Mum and daughter day. The teacher was helpful and provided us with extra items and a box to take home our wreath. The venue was great, I love the art space that they provide. All the Materials were great. Just wish they had included the glue gun as I wanted to add some bits to mine once home. I most liked about the day was having some one to one time with my daughter and doing something she enjoys.
  • 5/5 from Crystal McHaffie, attended Nov 2024: Elle our teacher was lovely and personable. We were all very comfortable in her presence. She was patient, kind and I would like to go back to have another class with her. We went on to buy another wreath and accessories to make one for my Nan.
  • 5/5 from Anonymised ClassBento customer, attended Nov 2024: Elle was a very competent teacher. The venue was adequate for the size of class. Overall an enjoyable experience but sadly I do not think it was particularly value for money.
  • 5/5 from Denise Gigg, attended Nov 2024: Ellie, who took today's class was very informative, helpful and friendly. She talked us through each step of making a traditional Christmas wreath, which we did, before moving onto the next one. Personally the best part for me was attaching the pieces, although I'll probably have to do them all again, to make sure they stay in place.
  • 4/5 from Lisa Berry, attended Nov 2024: Good tuition. Would have been better if not so rushed to cover everything in 1 hour. So maybe a 1.5 hour class. Also had to carry finished item through the shop so a bag to put the wreath in would have been nice. Overall was good.
  • 5/5 from Anne Newton, attended Nov 2023: today workshop was a excellent a great time and a must do workshop in store
  • 4/5 from Helen Payne, attended Nov 2023: It was very good. The lady was running late and didn’t know the store so the glue guns and scissors all arrived late. But I enjoyed the session and would do another craft there
  • 3/5 from Tina Morter, attended Nov 2023: We got it at a discount at £24 if I had paid more I'd have been disappointed. The Lady that ran the workshop I believe was the manager but she didn't introduce herself and she grumbled about Xmas which did not set the right mood. No creative skill needed, very simple task. One pair of scissors and wire cutters between 4 people.
  • 5/5 from Julia Whitmore, attended Nov 2022: Ellie was lovely very helpful had everything ready for the class the quality of the project where really good really enjoyed it
  • 5/5 from Helen Pennell, attended Nov 2022: Ellie was good fun and made our class making our wreaths a good experience. Would do this again next year! Nice way to start the run up to Christmas
  • 5/5 from Sue Clayson, attended Nov 2022: Wonderful Christmas wreath class with Ellie, such a friendly person made you feel at ease and nothing was to much trouble would love to do another class with her. And the other people doing the class was so friendly as well which makes all the different. The wreath was very good value for money you get such a lot in your boxs. Time went so fast but managed to finish the wreath. Second wreath class for me did the autumn one as well this year.
  • 5/5 from Denise Westwood, attended Nov 2022: I had a very enjoyable time at the workshop. The materials provided were excellent and the member of staff who assisted us was very good. Would consider going to more workshops in the future.
  • 5/5 from Anne Newton, attended Nov 2022: Donna was great yet another excellent workshop that has been a lifeline to increase my skill and keep my love of hobbycraft alive
