Keeping everyone safe

At Hobbycraft, we want our workshops to be enjoyable, inclusive, and safe for everyone. Some workshops are suitable for children, and where this is the case, a parent or legal guardian is responsible for supervising their child at all times unless the workshop is clearly stated as suitable for independent attendance. Our colleagues and instructors are there to guide the activity and support a safe environment, and if any concerns about safety or wellbeing arise during a workshop, these should be raised with a member of staff straight away.

  • 5/5 from Claire Louise Richards, attended Nov 2025: I joined a workshop in Exeter for wreath making. Absolutely loved it. Had a good chat with the teacher, excellent value, plenty of materials, easy to park. Afternoon fun with a glue gun, What's not to love?! It's a bit different being in the middle of a shop, I really enjoyed it and I love my wreath. Just need to sort my bow and it will be up shortly.
  • 5/5 from Susan Balsdon, attended Nov 2025: It was fairly quick and easy to make with a nice idea with the bows
  • 5/5 from Megan Maunder, attended Nov 2024: The class teacher was lovely and very enthusiastic. The kit was simple and accessible whilst still turning out a lovely wreath
  • 4/5 from Tonia Haughton, attended Nov 2024: It was good fun, just the two of us and the teacher who was lovely. A little basic, but we weren’t inexperienced. Good value for money and would recommend if you haven’t done this before.
  • 5/5 from Tracey Palmer, attended Nov 2023: The tutor, Julie, was lovely and very supportive. Plenty of choice for wreath decorations, and I'm really happy with the end product.
  • 5/5 from Lisa Richardson, attended Nov 2023: My friend and I enjoyed the wreath making workshop. Tina was welcoming from the start and gave very clear instructions and demonstrations. All the equipment and supplies were ready and at hand. We would both recommend the workshop.
