Lino Cut Print and Sip Workshop

Come along to an evening of 'vino and lino' and make something stunning!There are few things more satisfying than the 'peel and reveal' of your first lino cut print. In this workshop, you'll learn the basics of the art: planning a striking image, cutting your lino, and pulling prints on our printing press.You don't have to be an experienced artist to make bold and beautiful lino cuts. From botanicals, to landscapes and pets, there are lots of subjects that really lend themselves well to this technique.Not only that, it's a great activity to enjoy with friends over a glass of something refreshing, and at Hope Press, you'll be made to feel really at home. It's a bright, well-equipped studio with nice glassware and crockery for your tipple and snacks!You'll need to bring your own bottle, but you'll go away with a print-run of lovely prints on high-quality paper. You can even add a frame for your masterpiece for an additional £10.You've heard of "paint and sip" – take it up a notch and try "print and sip"!All Hope Press classes take place in our beautiful studio in Bollington, located in the historic Adelphi Mill. The studio is light, warm and comfortable, designed to be a calm and welcoming space to make art. It is fully equipped for printmaking, with a range of high-end equipment including etching presses and a screen-printing table. Tea and coffee-making facilities are available, with space to rest and take a breather whenever needed. All the materials for the evening are provided. You'll take away 4-5 versions of your masterpiece, printed on high-quality paper. You can also keep your lino block for future prints. Read more details
