NEW 45 minute workshop!
Roll up your sleeves and get stuck in with our slime making workshops! You'll have everything you need for getting creative with DIY slime and make your very own batch choosing from a range of colours and textures, making your goo unique.
This is a great way to encourage their creative flair, with an expert Hobbycraft colleague on hand to guide them through each step. This workshop is designed to encourage children to get making and it’s sure to inspire them for even more slime making fun.
Workshop suitable for ages 3+ years. All kids’ craft workshops require adult supervision. One ticket is required per child.
Please note: Messy aprons are not supplied. We would recommend bringing your own or wearing clothes you don’t mind getting dirty. Additionally, our workshop spaces in some stores are located in open areas and we will endeavour to minimise interruption from other crafters.
This workshop is also available as a private workshop for group bookings of 4+. Please note capacity varies per store. Please ask store upon request.

Some workshops are suitable for children, and where this is the case, a parent or legal guardian is responsible for supervising their child at all times unless the workshop is clearly stated as suitable for independent attendance. Our colleagues and instructors are there to guide the activity and support a safe environment, and if any concerns about safety or wellbeing arise during a workshop, these should be raised with a member of staff straight away.

From the moment the activity began, the children were excited to mix colors, experiment with textures, and watch their ingredients transform into stretchy, gooey slime. The session was well-organised and easy to follow, with clear instructions that made it simple for kids of all ages to participate. The materials provided were safe and child-friendly, and there was a wide variety of colours, glitter, and add-ins to choose from, allowing each child to create their own unique slime. One of the best parts of the experience was how engaging it was. The kids were fully immersed in the process, learning basic concepts of mixing and cause-and-effect without even realising it. The facilitator was patient, friendly, and supportive, ensuring that every child felt included and had a great time. She was always ready to help if something didn’t go as planned, turning small mishaps into fun learning moments. Overall, the slime making session was a fantastic activity that balanced fun and education perfectly. It’s highly recommended for birthday parties, school events, or weekend workshops! Any setting where kids can get creative, a little messy, and have a lot of fun.
