arrow_right_alt arrow_downwardJoin us in store for a fun and creative workshop where kids will turn simple paper cups into playful dancing puppets! Inspired by colourful characters like giraffes, unicorns, animals and magical creatures, kids will decorate and design their own unique puppet creations using paper, card, pens and plenty of imagination. This hands-on activity is perfect for encouraging creativity while making something they can proudly take home and play with again and again.
During the workshop, kids will learn how to fold card into concertina shapes to create springy, bouncing legs that make their puppets wobble and move. They’ll also attach string to suspend their puppets so they can bounce, dance and sway with movement. Whether they choose to make a silly monster, a jungle animal or a completely original character, every child will leave with a puppet full of personality and their own imaginative touch.
Workshop suitable for ages 3+ years. All kids’ craft workshops require adult supervision. One ticket is required per child.
Our workshop spaces in some stores are located in open areas, and we will endeavour to minimise interruption from other crafters.
Please note: Messy aprons are not supplied. We would recommend bringing your own or wearing clothes you don’t mind getting dirty. All materials are provided in store.
This workshop is also available as a private workshop for group bookings of 4+.
