  • 3/5 from Faye Claridge, attended Oct 2026: The session was ok, I was disappointed that the children didn’t get to make the pumpkins themselves. We really just stuck tissue paper on a cardboard pumpkin which I could’ve done at home! The lady running the session was lovely but didn’t have any involvement in the activity so I was helping the children do it. And it was booked for 45 minutes but seeing as all they were doing was sticking on tissue paper they were done in about 20 minutes. Overall a bit of a shame!
  • 5/5 from Freya, attended Sep 2026: My daughter attended a Kids' Halloween Mache Pumpkin Workshop and she thoroughly enjoyed herself. Everything my daughter needed was provided and every child that attended had ample supplies so nobody went without. I have to give a shout out to Sam who run the workshop because she was absolutely amazing and so helpful. She made sure every child was looked after and she didn't hesitate to make sure they had everything they needed. She is a credit to Hobbycraft! Thank you so much Sam, we will definitely be booking more workshops in the future because of our experience today.
  • 3/5 from Sayali Panse, attended Sep 2026: I would have loved for the staff to teach the kids how to do the craft rather than parents doing it.
  • 5/5 from Christine Hird, attended Oct 2025: It’s great workshop but it was the girl running it that made it, as she was great fun and so helpful, kids loved her.

  • 3/5 from Iga Costa, attended Oct 2024: The table was messy, all we got was a pile of scraps of tissue paper and glue, no other decorations apart from googly eyes. We were expecting it to be a bit more organised with at least one more staff member, I was hoping that the kids will be able to do it themselves with guidance from staff, I ended up doing most of it myself. Not what we expected at all
  • 5/5 from Karen Mitchell, attended Oct 2023: We loved this craft! My daughter didn't follow instructions vert well, as usual, but we had fun and still came away with a fairly decent looking pumpkin!

  • 4/5 from Hayley Redmond, attended Oct 2023: Lots of resources available and the table was in a good position away from distractions. The teacher was friendly but a bit reserved, there was little interaction with the kids.
  • 4/5 from Claire Rorison-Warburton, attended Oct 2023: This was a great activity for my daughter. Only reason I’m not saying it great is that it started slightly later than it was due to
  • 3/5 from Jennifer Laffar, attended Oct 2023: Facilitator input minimal. Showed us example and said to use the papers on the table. No interaction with the children at all. An hour was allocated but everyone was finished in 30 minutes. My granddaughter enjoyed the sticking but it was not a very stimulating experience

  • 4/5 from Crystal Dalton, attended Oct 2022: My son really enjoyed the arts and crafts session today. The trainer was Terry and his instructions were clear and paced well for the children. He had a lovely manner with the children and made the session fun. The children finished the activity early (it was supposed to be an hour) so Terry provided a second activity for them to do. I thought this was excellent customer service. All the children really enjoyed the session and we’re happy when they left. Excellent value for money.
  • 4/5 from Glynys Honor, attended Oct 2022: Terry was excellent. His enthusiasm rubbed off on the children and they really enjoyed making the pumpkins and then the clay ghost and bat. He was conscious to include everyone
  • 4/5 from Lavinia Owen, attended Oct 2022: Teacher was great but we didn’t actually do papier-mâché on the pumpkin or get to use googly eyes. Instead we painted the pumpkins in normal colours but this was also very fun.
