Creative kids will love crafting a unique Halloween decoration that is certain to set a spooky scene! This mache pumpkin project is a great way to get the Halloween fun started and it’ll teach them all about making with mache.
The tutorial is designed for kids aged three years and over. They’ll have an expert Hobbycraft colleague showing them every step of the way, with a fantastic variety of craft materials provided in store to help them transform one spooky pumpkin – from googly eyes to tissue paper! There are so many ways to make something unique.
Whether kids have never made with mache before or they just love getting stuck in with this versatile craft, the workshop will be a fun way to embrace Halloween excitement.
All participants will walk away with pumpkins to put on display. Please note, you may need to allow for drying time.
Workshop suitable for ages 3+ years. All kids’ craft workshops require adult supervision. One ticket is required per child.
Our workshop spaces in some stores are located in open areas, and we will endeavour to minimise interruption from other crafters.

He's now 4years old and definitely enjoyed it and was able to concentrate more this time so maybe this is a better age. There were lots of materials available to make your pumpkin and my son decided he'd like a rainbow/ patchwork style one. The lady taking the class was very helpful.and kept topping up materials. I still think for younger kids there should be kids tables/chairs as my son sat on my lap for this class. Also some more eyes would have been nice as it was limited per person so we bought some more on the way out. I would recommend this class and would also do it again as I think it would be nice to built up a pumpkin collection.
