Kids' Canvas Painting Party

This workshop is the perfect way to spark kids’ creativity in a fun and simple way. Little ones can paint their own unique wall art using a variety of techniques, from masking tape patterns to playful paint effects. It’s a relaxing, confidence-boosting activity that helps them develop their artistic skills.

The session can be customised to any theme, from Dinosaurs to Unicorns. If your child has a special interest, speak to your local store in advance to tailor the experience.

The workshop will be led by one of our expert Hobbycraft colleagues in store. Each participant will receive a canvas, paints, card, and masking tape, and will be guided step-by-step through the project to create their own masterpiece.

The little makers will use masking tape to design their pattern, paint over it, and then peel the tape away to reveal crisp white lines for a bold, eye-catching finish.

We offer this creative workshop for small groups for bookings of 4+ capacity varies by store, so please check with your local store for details.

By the end of the session, participants will have a completed canvas that simply needs a little time to dry.

Workshop suitable for ages 3+ years. All kids’ craft workshops require adult supervision. One ticket is required per child.

Please note: Messy aprons are not supplied. We would recommend bringing your own or wearing clothes you don’t mind getting dirty. All materials are provided in store.

Our workshop spaces in some stores are located in open areas, and we will endeavour to minimise interruption from other crafters.

At Hobbycraft, we want our workshops to be enjoyable, inclusive, and safe for everyone. Some workshops are suitable for children, and where this is the case, a parent or legal guardian is responsible for supervising their child at all times unless the workshop is clearly stated as suitable for independent attendance. Our colleagues and instructors are there to guide the activity and support a safe environment, and if any concerns about safety or wellbeing arise during a workshop, these should be raised with a member of staff straight away.
