Throughout the year, Hobbycraft host a variety of workshops in stores and online, designed to give everyone the opportunity to master a new craft or refine a long-time favourite. Whether you want to enjoy crafting from the comfort of your own home or you’re looking to meet new people as you get making, these craft workshops offer something for everyone.
Most of our workshops are led by colleagues from Hobbycraft stores across the UK, including craft experts from our Hobbycraft Artisan programme. They use their expertise in specific areas of craft to create workshops that show participants new skills and inspire future projects.

Teacher was great and adapted level of difficulty for my 3 year old. She made a wand instead of a flower.
All materials were provided and easy to use.

Really enjoyed the Acrylic Paint Pouring class, Rachel at Glasgow Fort HobbyCraft was great, really helpful teacher, included everyone and ensured we all had a great time. And the finished product is amazing! Would really recommend this to anyone looking to learn a new craft.

We had a lovely afternoon at the bauble marbling class.
Great value for money & the teacher was very helpful.
We left with 6 lovely baubles each. Great value for money.

Rachel at Glasgow Fort is a fantastic teacher, very helpful, patient and made the class a success. Rachel was very accommodating to all participants and kept everyone involved. Me and my sister absolutely loved the class, great quality materials used and the finished product looks fantastic. We are looking forward to attend our next Hobby Craft workshop!

Great workshop! The facilitator was really open and friendly, confident but approachable and described how to do the crafts both during the class but also using alternative set ups at home which was helpful. The amount of material you get for the cost of the class is amazing- the takeaway kit and equipment, tote bag and extras made it such great value for money. Really fun, relaxed and enjoyable workshop I would highly recommend x

The teacher was very informative and engaged with all the class. The class was well structured and everything explained. The kit supplied was great with plenty of materials for the class and for home. Something obvious, but maybe mention in joining instructions to wear old clothes. 5 out of 5 for the class.

Rachel was lovely, great kit and easy to follow instructions. I bought this for my friend's 60 birthday we had a ball at the workshop in the Fort Glasgow.

Class was held at The Fort in Glasgow. Tutor was Rachael who was friendly, professional and very experienced and gave excellent delivery of a superb, value for money class. A good variety of materials were supplied with ample to make a decent sized wreath. There was plenty of space to work in. I would recommend this class even to experienced crafters as Rachel has some handy tips and good advice.

The lady leading the workshop was really nice and interacted with the children in a lovely manner. The kids enjoyed the experience, they leaned to create a marble pattern with the clay. They're very happy with their creations and it inspired them to make more at home. Good value for money for something a wee bit different.

We had a young teacher who excelled at art. There were 4 in our class and the table within the store was good with the store being warm enough to be comfortable without our jackets on. Our box of items for the wreath making was fabulous. This class was worth the money we paid for it.

This was a truly wonderful class. I’m really happy with what I produced, and it’s still changing as it dries.
I’m looking forward to working on more projects, and bought more materials so I could keep trying.
The tutor was encouraging, gave clear explanation, and boosted my confidence. Plus, one to one teaching, who could ask for more.

Very enjoyable hour and a half. Products were good quality, instructions simple and effective. Tutor was lovely encouraging giving extra advice when needed. Highly recommend this activity.

It was our first time at a class. I’d have liked more help with making the bats and ghosts. There wasn’t much instruction given. More or less left to our own devices. However my granddaughter loved the clay so we bought more and she made more things when she got home.

This class was amazing it was only me but Angela the class teacher was so good , she gave me tips , and ideas for different ways to make them , what you get in your box was fabulous and you get to keep your glue gun as well .

Both kids thoroughly enjoyed their canvas creating class with Sarah. She was a brilliant host/tutor and allowed the children to come up with their own ideas and guide them along the way with lots of positive feedback and encouragement. It was a simple craft but lots of ways to make it your own. It’s given us ideas to try at home and we’d totally recommend giving this class a try. £5 each is token price I don’t mind spending to see the kids engaged in something creative.

Great wee workshop. My 5 year old nephew loved making his first pom-pom bunny.
Teacher Sarah was first class. Very friendly and helpful. The workshop space works well, and the materials were just right.
Sarah was very knowledgeable and gave perfect advice on buying equipment and materials.
Maybe slightly expensive for this workshop compared to some of the others, but very enjoyable.
We’ll definitely be back to try more new crafting.
Sarah is a great representative for Hobbycraft.

I booked this class months ago and had a really good time, the only thing lacking was the amount of plug sockets and choice of frosted or classic wreath that was in the description of the class. The teacher was great and helped out a lot with everyone’s wreath and gave advice on what to do. It’s annoying the price has gone from £35 to £15 now though

I enjoyed the wreath making Tutorial with ?Susan. The set up and group number was ideal as there were only 3 taking part. I was delighted with the kit provided and ?Susan was very thorough with her demonstration and gave the group hints and tips on how to assemble our wreaths, and even explaining that autumn theme could be adapted & updated as the seasons changed using different colours/materials.
I found ?Susan very friendly and kept everyone chatting and involved. I felt very comfortable asking (many) questions throughout the session.

I attended the autumn wreath making class. The instructor, Angela was so friendly & helpful, she puts you at ease straight away with her lovely chatty demeanour. The only improvement I would suggest is that the area you do it in is very open so people can interrupt. The kit was great value for money, getting a hot glue gun to keep after & all the things you need for a beautiful wreath. I would definitely attend another workshop here.
