  • 3/5 from Dawn Slater, attended Aug 2026: Tutor was very friendly. I felt a bit rushed, could have done with another 30 minutes.. Made three coasters. Kept very clean due to apron, plastic sheets and hand wipes.

  • 5/5 from Leanne Marie Hellier, attended Mar 2026: We booked a acrylic pouring session on mother’s day for me and my sister in law in Chelmsford, Tereasa was our tutor and she was fantastic. Very patient and professional. There was just the 2 of us in the class but it made much more like a one to one, so we never felt rushed at all. We had a fantastic time and we will definitely be booking again soon. Would definitely recommend this class to anyone that wants to try something new.
  • 5/5 from Naomi Young-Rodas, attended Jan 2026: Brilliant. Loved it. Very well explained and good value fir money as it includes the paint pouring kit, so have plenty left to experiment at home
  • 5/5 from Sue Brewster, attended Nov 2025: We had the best time at Hobbycraft Chelmsford. Teresa encouraged us to make a mess and go for it!! Our first time acrylic paint pouring and it won’t be our last. It’s brilliant and a good price. All of the equipment is provided and you get to take your kit home! Highly recommend this as a gift or a present to yourself.
  • 5/5 from Georgina Otter, attended Oct 2025: Thoroughly enjoyed this class today! Lots of guidance and ideas provided. I made 2 coasters and 2 canvases trying out 3 techniques. Was really fun, and had lots of paint and equipment left in the kit, along with canvases and 2 coasters, to try more out at home. Thank you
  • 5/5 from Kat Thompson, attended Sep 2025: Excellent class with Teresa, she was patient, knowledgeable and friendly. We made 2 coasters and 1 canvas, trying 3 different methods. The kit you get has everything you need to try it at home too.
  • 5/5 from Clare Thorpe, attended Aug 2025: Teresa was a great teacher, she showed us many different techniques of paint pouring and helped us individually as well as a group. First we chose 3-4 colours of paint and individually poured them onto our coaster, then we put all of our colours together to make a nice swirl effect. My favourite part was seeing the end result of all of my work. I really enjoyed this workshop and I would definitely do it again. I would be interested in an intermediate paint pouring workshop for those who want to learn more techniques and continue with their paint pouring hobby.
  • 5/5 from Julie Hudson, attended Aug 2025: Great fun and got good results, teacher was lovely and very knowledgeable. I am hoping she will do another perhaps longer/intermediate acrylic art course to do.
  • 5/5 from Jo Alderton, attended Jul 2025: Our teacher was lovely although I don’t know her name. Kind patient and informative.
  • 5/5 from Helen Kalf, attended Jul 2025: Excellent teacher. Explained everything clearly. I made two coasters and a canvas picture with pouring acrylic paints. A set of paints was provided in the class price which I had not expected. We were also able to leave our work to collect at a later date so it could dry completely. I will definitely be booking another class.
  • 5/5 from Ellen Tyrrell, attended Jun 2025: Fantastic, super one to one class
  • 5/5 from Judith, attended May 2025: My friend Sue and I love acrylic pouring. We learnt how to pour with Hobbycraft’s premixed paints. Our teacher Theresa was excellent; patient, encouraging, and knowledgable. The venue was great. We were thrilled to receive our own kits of paints and accessories for pouring. We enjoyed doing two small coasters, and one large board. The most exciting moment is after you’ve layered up the cup, and then watch it pour out, and watch the painting “develop” with time. There were 4 in our class, and we would definitely all come again if a different technique was shown by Theresa, eg “chain pouring”.
  • 5/5 from Julie Lushington, attended May 2025: Great class, learned loads and thoroughly enjoyed. Teacher was knowledgeable and patient and we left with the materials to do more at home. Cant wait to do another class!
