  • 5/5 from Katherine, attended Jun 2026: Steph was patient & if you made a mistake she didn’t make you feel silly. The 90 minutes flew by & leant chain stitch, double crochet, triple crochet & how to change the colour of wool. Would highly recommend.
  • 5/5 from Elaine Burnett, attended Jun 2026: My class was - Beginner's Guide to Crochet. I found Stephanie to be a very good teacher, the time she took explaining crochet then each stitch was, again, very good. Nothing was too much trouble for her, even going through it again when I got confused. I have no hesitation in recommending her to others and - once I'm happy with double and treble stitches would love to book another class with her to learn how to crochet granny squares. Thank you Stephanie for a brilliant class and oh my..the 1 1/2 hour class flew by - as you said it would

  • 5/5 from Nicola, attended Feb 2026: Great intro to crochet session with like minded people. Learnt the basics and immediately went home and picked up the hook and yarn provided and made my first proper item (a whale) from a free pattern I found. Happy I have finally mastered this after trying on my own for some time.
  • 5/5 from Lynne Gibson, attended Jan 2026: I have just retired and it was my birthday, so I decided to treat myself. Crocheting is something I have wanted to learn for a little while. I came away confident that the stich I was shown will get me going. The young lady that took the class (I'm sorry I have forgotten her name) was an absolute star. She was so patient. She made me feel at ease and really didn't mind showing me where I was going wrong. She had a lovely sense of humour, she needed it with me. She knew what she was doing and explained things that was easy to understand. I was given a crochet hook and some wool which was a nice thing. I really liked that the class was small. There was only three of us. So it was perfect. For me the shop was very convenient to get to. I will definitely be booking more classes.
  • 5/5 from Fiona Herring, attended Jan 2026: I really enjoyed this class. There was only 3 of us which was great so the teacher could spend time with all of us. She was very patient with us and explained things clearly. Didn't rush anyone. We got 2 big balls of wool, crochet hook and paperwork to get us started. Definitely recommend.

The venue was accessible and the materials were excellent! We would definitely go back again for another session!
  • 5/5 from Catherine Rice, attended May 2025: Was very good group! 4 was a good size of learners to 1 teacher. • 4/5 from Susan Powell, attended Jan 2024: Marjie the teacher was great, patient and funny. I feel like I learnt something, but still a long way from understanding crochet. I think the wools provided are too thick and split easily not ideal for beginners
  • 5/5 from Claire Crane, attended Dec 2023: Marjie was fabulous as a tutor and so patient. Tried to learn from friends and family but never succeeded but I came away knowing 2 of the main stitches and how to hold my yarn.
