Get hooked on crochet with our beginner’s tutorial! Enjoy this relaxing craft as you get to grips with the simple skills you’ll need to stitch beautiful designs, with one of our craft experts on hand to guide you through the steps.

This workshop provides a wonderful introduction to the world of crochet, perfect if you’re a complete beginner. Through the course of the workshop, you’ll learn double stitch and treble stitch. You’ll also be shown how to create a chain, working in rows to create a tension square.

You’ll have a craft kit included, ensuring you’ve got the yarn and hook you need. It’s a great opportunity to pick up techniques you can then put into practice when you move on to other patterns.

Throughout the tutorial, you will be able to ask any crochet questions you may have.

Please note, our workshop spaces in some stores are located in open areas and we will endeavour to minimise interruption from other crafters.

Please contact your chosen store if you are left-handed to ensure the colleague hosting will be able provide the correct support needed alternatively all of our online session's can support a left-handed learner, BOOK HERE

This workshop is also available as a private workshop for group bookings of 4+.

Please note any participants under the age of 16 will require adult supervision. A ticket is not required unless they wish to craft along.

They gave you notes and a lovely tote bag with some yawn. So you can continue to practic at home. Highly recommended.

She taught us double and triple crochet which we both picked up quickly. We'd like to learn how to make crochet animals so she gave us some tips and explained patterns etc. Lovely intimate group so you get a lot of help if you need it. Really recommend it for anyone that wants to give crochet a go!

A lovely way to spend a morning. I arrived a complete beginner and now I feel ready to actually make something!
