The tutorial is designed for crafters of all skill levels, so even if this is your first wreath, you’ll be shown everything you need to know to make sure it’s a triumph. It’s a great way to hone your wreath making skills, with the support of a craft expert on hand to help you along the way.
The Hobbycraft colleague leading your workshop will guide you with tips and tricks, showing you how to layer your wreath design to show contrast and depth with foliage and florals. Enjoy mastering the techniques and sparking your creativity as you try your hand at this relaxing activity.
You’ll come away with the perfect decoration for your home to suit the season! Display it on your front door and impress all the neighbours.

- 3/5 from Marilyn Bennett, attended Sep 2026: The lady who ran the class was great but there was not enough time. The class ran over but only managed to do the string. Took flowers home to complete. Not impressed. Suggest you use someone who has never done wreath making before you set a time. I have made wreaths before and so has the lady but still could not finish.

She explained clearly and it was a real treat to sit quietly and make something, I enjoyed it so much I went straight out into the store and got a wreath to make another. Having all the equipment and kit supplied plus a dedicated time and space was great. It was great to see both Dawn's creation and the other lady on the workshop as we all dis such different things, it was very inspiring.

Dawn, our teacher was lovely, helpful and patient. The materials were slightly different than what had been advertised but still good. My sister and I were beginners and learnt a new skill. The class was good value for money. The only thing I would change was the time allocated, it needed to be 1.5 hours not 1 hour. It felt a little rushed to get it finished (everyone, beginners and experienced alike said this) I would recommend this class, and would give it 4.5 stars if I could. (0.5 star off for the time)

Having done Christmas wreath workshops elsewhere I was hoping for a bit more variety of material that we could pick and choose. But overall it was a nice hour to spend with friends.
