I haven’t been to Woburn for a while as the teachers, for me, have been a bit hit and miss in the past few months but thought I’d come back again and was pleased that I did. Martin was great fun, a good teacher, not too quick and engaged well with the class. He was very helpful and took care to make sure we were all well equipped with more paint, towels etc. All in all a very good evening.

The tutor was wonderful. The atmosphere great. The only thing yiu can improve is the space between the participants. I felt the space for my staff was very small so the movements were a bit tensioned. Otherwise I loved it!

We had a fantastic evening! It was the largest group of people I'd encountered at a BrushParty, but the venue was plenty big enough so we all had elbow-room. The tutor gave clear instructions and was attentive to questions - and had plenty of spare paint. Everyone came away happy with their canvas - quite an impressive herd of highland cows in all sorts of shapes and sizes. It wasn't the chattiest group of people (perhaps everyone was concentrating?) but everyone seemed happy and comfortable. And the pub staff and regulars were very welcoming.

I had such an enjoyable evening at this painting class. The atmosphere was relaxed, friendly and creative, and the teacher made the whole process easy to follow while still encouraging us to put our own personality into our paintings.
I loved seeing the picture gradually come together and was genuinely delighted with what I created. It was fun, sociable and a lovely way to switch off for a few hours. I came away feeling proud of my painting and would happily do another class. Highly recommended!

We did this brush party to celebrate a friend's birthday. It was my first experience and I'm not an artist by any means. The teacher was lovely and explained each step clearly, sometimes more than once for those who didn't 'get it' the first time. We had a cosy space and it was a pleasant atmosphere within the pub. I enjoyed the learning experience with other lovely people. It was a great evening. I would definitely do another, but wouldn't want to be too ambitious with my lack of artistic skills!!

Cosy small class today. Builders Arms Pub is a great venue and staff/regulars so welcoming.
Steph our teacher is such a genuinely warm supporting guide.
I'm sure more would have booked if advertised locally. Safe friendly space to come with guests or alone as other people are always friendly. Everyone walked away with beautiful masterpiece.
