We had a wonderful pottery experience with Louise. She was friendly, patient, and made everyone feel welcome from the moment we arrived. This class was a Christmas present. We created a mug and a bowl in our time with Louise. She was super friendly, funny and informative. We loved the experience and will be returning to decorate our pieces in a couple of weeks. Would recommend!!!

This was a Christmas gift from my wife. I had a wonderful time and met some lovely people. Louise is a great teacher. I don't know how she manages to keep an eye on everyone at the same time. You get to keep your pieces once they've been glazed and fired. I would definitely recommend the experience.

I had the best time at Louise's pottery wheel class! It was such a joy to learn something completely new, and the whole experience felt both relaxing and exciting at the same time.Louise is an absolute delight—so kind, patient, and genuinely interesting to listen to. Louise was a fantastic tutor from start to finish. Very warm and welcoming, making you feel at ease from of the offset. I loved how we each had a go at the different steps before we got stuck into making our items. Louise is amazing at what she does and really puts so much effort into the session. Louise was a very good tutor who kept the instructions to the ability of the class and made everyone feel as if they could make a pot or dish without too much difficulty.A drink on arrival and a few minutes nattering made all the pupils relax and ease the apprehension that was there at the start.An enjoyable session that saw everyone complete at least one credible looking item.Well worth the time and effort if you are thinking about it!

What a lovely way to spend a few hours. My only gripe is that the time flew by so quickly. Louise was welcoming, knowledgeable and encouraging. The studio space was perfect, with calming music and the right temperature. We were blessed to be visiting on a crisp winters day with the sunlight flooding in through the windows.The pottery itself resulted in two functional pieces which I've decided to paint, so I will be revisiting the studio soon for an additional cost.It was something I'd wanted to do for a long time, and taking that first step into the world of throwing with the expert guidance of Louise was perfect. Whilst mildly intimidated by the amount of information, it sparked a dream inside me. I can't wait to do it again.

I was given this as birthday present, by my partner. I tried my hand at slab-built pottery at adult classes in the late '80s for around 3 years at Tresham collage, but never got the opportunity to try the potter's wheel. Louise made us feel very welcome, and explained at the start how the session would go and what she hopped we'd get out of it. There were four people booked in the class, which was just right. To be able to have made a mug and a bowl by the end of the two hours was brilliant and a testament to Louise's teaching.

We had the most wonderful pottery session with Louise! Her knowledge is incredible, and she explains each technique so clearly while making the whole experience relaxed and fun. She has the patience of a saint — especially while watching us enthusiastically make many creative “learning opportunities” on the wheel .Louise took the time to get to know us, which instantly put us at ease and made the session feel personal and welcoming. She taught us a variety of techniques and encouraged us every step of the way, no matter how wonky things got. I had a brilliant afternoon at the pottery! Louise was very welcoming and made us all feel at ease, she is very passionate and knowledgeable about her craft. There were only three of us so we had plenty of one to one tuition with Louise which was great. I made a mug and a bowl and I cannot wait to go back and decorate them. This is something I've always wanted to try and it didn't disappoint. I'd recommend going to one Louise's classes, I shall definitely do it again in the future.

My sister and I booked the wheel throwing class and loved every moment! Louise instantly put us at ease with her amazing spirit and passion for pottery. The Venue was easy to find and it was a small class so at no point did we feel like we weren’t getting Louise’s full attention. We were able to make both a mug and bowl for an extra £5 which was totally worth it. Louise also took loads of photos and videos of our experience to share with our family and friends which was a nice touch. Would recommend this class to anyone wanting to learn something different and have a nice wholesome morning.

5 Stars – A Truly Wonderful Experience!I attended a pottery class on Saturday and I honestly can’t stop smiling about it! From start to finish, it was an absolutely fantastic experience. The atmosphere was warm and welcoming, with a lovely balance of creativity, relaxation, and hands-on learning.The instructor was incredibly patient, knowledgeable, and encouraging—no question was too small, and their passion for the craft really shone through. Even as a beginner, I felt completely at ease and supported throughout.I loved getting to work with the clay, learn the techniques, and create something with my own hands. There’s something so therapeutic about the process, and I left feeling proud, inspired, and eager to come back for more.Everything was well-organized and thoughtfully prepared, and the studio space had a calming, artistic vibe that made the whole experience even more enjoyable.If you’re looking for a fun, mindful activity or want to explore a new creative skill, I couldn’t recommend this class enough. It was a guided lesson which means you end up walking away with actual functional pieces, perfect for a complete beginner who wants to show off what they have done! I also booked in to paint my pieces which I am super excited about!
