2 x 7 hours Class size 1 to 6 guests     £260 - £275 (price varies across dates)
Explore some DIY and woodworking skills with your experienced teacher. No worries if you're a beginner or an improver looking to expand your skills, everyone is welcome to come and make their own piece of furniture.
During these two-day wood workshops, you'll be working in a safe and friendly environment using planed timber and plywood. Andrew will guide you through effective construction techniques, helping you build confidence using different tools and materials.
You get a choice of what kind of wood project you'd like to craft. Our classes usually focus on designs such as the 'Crate' or 'Sedia' chairs. All the materials you need to make one basic item is provided. If you fancy a challenge, you can make a second item, but you will need to purchase materials for this.
In this craft course, you will consider the highly inventive techniques in Enzo Mari's AutoProgettzione and Rietveld's crate series. These can both be adapted to all sorts of personal projects and will act as a foundation for any future DIY projects you undertake.
