My wife and I really enjoyed our workshop with Bruce. First time we had tried a Bento workshop & given us an appetite to try more.
Bruce patiently walked us through the process of blending oils, adding to the wax & wicking process. Lots of scents and aromas dancing around our sensory experiences.

The best class! I booked this for my brother as he has always wanted to make his own perfume and has a huge interest in perfumery. I found this class which I was really interested in as it’s founded on sustainability which is a) really important to me and b) my skin is really sensitive to a lot of ‘mainstream’ products.
Bells met us at the door and she was so welcoming. She showed us upstairs and we entered a space that was absolutely stunning, warm and smelt incredible. Bells was so knowledgeable, kind and humble in her approach, and no question ever felt silly to ask. Bells is basically someone I would absolutely be friends with in my life and that’s what it felt like. Making stunning, luxury products with an extremely knowledgable friend. Chris loved the perfumery experience which is and we came away with a perfume spray, solid perfume and a diffuser. I loved every minute of our morning and I’ve now got a new hobby, and a new fragrance which I love and feels like me. It was really informal but extremely informative. She gave so much information and gave really good advice when asked questions about a specific issue. Every part of substances that they use are of the highest quality and ecofriendly. Even the tags are able to be put in the garden to sow wild flowers. She has thought of everything

Excellent class, professionally delivered by Bruce. Extremely enjoyable way to spend a couple of hours doing something crafty, that you can gift to family and friends and use in your own home. Great selection of oils to work with. Great info on blending. Perfume aromas are subjective, so what one person might like another might not. My group shared our blends and found there were definitely some blends we all liked. Great that we were able to take away our candles and blending sticks. Love the ethics of this company, everything is reusable and sustainable. I will be booking another course very soon. Relaxed informal atmosphere. Lovely way to spend a Sunday morning. Highly recommended.

We had a wonderful time candle making with Bruce! He was incredibly warm and welcoming, and the class had a relaxed and friendly atmosphere. Welcomed with a cuppa tea (can’t go wrong) and ended on some bubbles. We learned so much without ever feeling rushed, and Bruce took the time to explain everything clearly. We came away with six amazing candles (three each), and it was such a fun, wholesome evening out. Lit the first candle last night and filled the room with smell in only half an hour! Would 100% recommend.

It was a Birthday treat to do something creative and luxurious a d the session really delivered. The setting is beautiful; the room was very relaxing and smelt lovely! Every detail was well thought through- from the tea blends to the, chos n materials and the set up of the activities. We had a candle making class with Bells and it was a lovely evening. We came for a small birthday gathering and we're made to feel special from the very beginning. Bells is incredibly knowledgeable and generous with that knowledge. She makes all the steps fun and accessible.

A very interesting and informative course, partnered with the creation of your own, personalised candles. As I don't have a good sense of smell, I wasn't sure if I would be able to succeed, but the oils were good and potent, and I was very happy with the end result. Thank you.
The only thing that I found a bit of a challenge was the amount if space that I had on the table provided (I think) by the venue.

Nice relaxing afternoon learning how to blend oils to create 3 candles of your choice. Workshop was both informative and relaxing. The pace was lovely, giving you ample time to experiment with a good variety of scents before putting candles together. An excellent way to learn the basics of aromatherapy candles.

I was visiting the area for a short break and had searched for a craft workshop to do. This immediately caught my eye because it was different from the usual offerings and the way the information is presented is very attractive. The workshop space was lovely, tidy and organised, with art and crafts and many products displayed. A welcome of a herbal tea is a nice touch and Bells’ guidance throughout was professional and friendly. My friend and I really enjoyed trying all the different essential oils and choosing our own combinations before making three home aromatherapy products to take away. 100% recommend if you are in the area and Bells says she travels too if you want a group event in your own venue.

What a wonderful way to spend a Friday evening making natural and sustainable candles whilst enjoying a glass of bubbles (or herbal tea for me!). Our “teacher” Bruce was super lovely and engaging, giving great and clear instructions meaning we all made a set of beautiful candles. The venue its self was easy to find and the room was lovely! The little extra touches like the seed paper for labels and bags to take out candles home were the icing on the cake! We can’t wait to bring our other niece to a future workshop! Thank you! X

It’s was a lovely thing to do & we will definitely be booking on the perfume one next. I recommend parking at Morrisons, paying the £2.50 online to give 3 hours parking.

We made a reed diffuser, a spray perfume and a balm perfume all of different scents of our choosing.
I liked noting down the scents of what I liked and didn’t and what scents worked well with each other.
