Come along to this fun jewellery making class and make your loved one special unique pieces of silver jewellery. Or why not come along as a couple and make beautiful jewellery for each other?
You will learn how to mould silver clay into a shape for your unique jewellery pieces. You will also learn to fire and polish your pieces which you will take away with you at the end of the workshop. This will be a special memento of your special day.
The course is suitable for beginners and experienced jewellers. Louise is on hand to provide any help and advice required. She creates a relaxed environment for you to have fun.


Knowledge required
No previous knowledge is required. Full instructions will be provided and help is on hand to help you design, mold, fire, and polish your piece(s).
 
What you'll get
A good, fun, and relaxed informative workshop to take away their silver creations at the end of the course. Light refreshments, all tools, and materials provided.

Glasses for close-up work if required.

I began my journey into Silver Metal clay whilst running a pottery studio and soon became hooked! The magic of turning a piece of clay into a solid piece of Hallmark Silver never fails to amaze me and I love sharing this with my students and helping them create a lovely piece of jewellery that they can wear proudly home makes my job the best.
I hold a Higher Diploma in Silver Metal Clay and am a senior metal clay instructor and glass teacher. I have been teaching for over twelve years running classes from my studio in Market Bosworth and many jewellery schools and galleries all around the Midlands area. I am a member of The Guild of Jewellers and am on the education committee of the alliance of metal clay. I also hold a Gold student choice award.
I have worked hard to develop my skills and I strive to work to the highest standard. I am proud to have achieved third prize for one of my pieces in an international competition held in Tokyo, Japan, in December 2024 involving more than 340 entries from around the globe. I have also had a piece displayed at the International Silver Accessories Exhibition in Tokyo.
