The teacher was very talented and patient with all of us. Melissa guided us on how to mix paint correctly and gave the family a wonderful calming and relaxing experience. The venue was at Natural Kitchen, Tower Hill. It was the perfect location and wonderful open venue. Lots of light and perfect music, not too loud and barely heard the other customers while they ate on the other side. Great area to paint and have drinks available next to the painting area. We really enjoyed this painting pottery class as part of our friend's hen party. We had two teachers in the session, and at the beginning of the class they seemed a little nervous but they soon warmed up and were very friendly and helpful. A few people leant on them for support with design and colours and they were very knowledgable. The venue was really lovely – a big open restaurant with lots of healthy smoothies available. The only downside was that the staff at the restaurant were not very attentive, but that can't be helped by the class + more

The class was fun! We met at the back of a restaurant with all the materials prepared and provided. Rather than a 'class' with guidance from the teacher, it was 2 hours of painting whatever you wanted on two coasters and a small plate.

Enjoyed the venue, was very spacious with natural light. We had a private area in a restaurant so there was good access to bathrooms and food/drink which was nice. It was a small group so we got individual time from the teacher Melissa who was approachable and helpful. It was a fun and easy experience as all materials were provided and even bags to bring the art home in. Would definitely go again!

Painting Class: Frida Kahlo

Had a great experience on Saturday drawing my dog. Melissa and Katie prepared sketches in advance, which we then used as a template to paint. During the class we were given lots of tips to how to adjust the shades, light, add volume, improve the texture and even out the background. Having no experience in painting, we felt very proud of the results!

Painting Class: Harry Potter and Van Gogh

We had a great evening doing the paint pouring and they all look fab! The instructors were lovely and up lifting when talking about our work and giving tips. The demos were interesting but a little bit slow I would say? I think everyone was just too keen to get going! They came to our office and bought plenty of supplies and covers to keep everything clean. I am shocked there isn't a drop of paint anywhere! All in all, an interesting activity and everyone had fun! My son loved the acrylic pouring class with Melissa! Melissa was very helpful, friendly and gave Maximus some good tips and advice on where to buy certain art products from. The location in St Katherine docks in the Slug and Lettuce was perfect. I was able to drink my tea whilst watching my son! I highly recommend Melissa who clearly is very talented, so anyone looking for a fun workshop with friends or going solo, hit her up! ( I know she provides other kinds of classes like Pottery too)

The class was really great and both girls were lovely! The venue was a bar so you can go buy drinks if you like which is quite nice. We were given beautiful colours to paint with and extra brushes/sponges as required.

I was lucky enough to enjoy a great one-to-one (unexpectedly) 2-hour session with Melissa on acrylic pouring! The class took place outdoors, which made a change! The idea is great. The location is great. But probably doesn’t fit complete beginners. We’ve been given the colours, the brushes and an example of the picture we’re making. For the person who never held a brush that wasn’t enough. I was expecting to be given certain techniques or a guidance how to make it work.

Great experience! Definitely doing it again! I didn’t know I had it in me! It felt so natural to play with colours. I loved the fact that I was also free to paint my own interpretation and not strictly follow the instructions. Really lovely venue with a chilled, warm and rustic atmosphere. Mellissa was very friendly and she gently guided us throughout. Really good fun!

I attended a small (4 students) painting class which was a lovely introduction to Bento, I had never been before. The atmosphere was welcoming and teacher (Melissa ) friendly and helpful. I was lucky that there was another person there who was into being social and chatty as otherwise it might not have been so nice. I would say that when there are only very few people -and especially couples who often don’t feel the need to be overly social as they have each other- it would be a good idea to have a little short icebreaker activity at the start + more

Definitely worth it! A small group of nice people willing to discover something new. There was both enough guidance provided and enough freedom given to try things. It was the first time I took a painting class and I really enjoyed it. The time was well managed too.
