The host was so friendly and helpful, and guided us so patiently to produce a lovely charcuterie board which I feel very proud of.It was very easy to navigate through the Bento site and use our gift card, and the instructions prior to the workshop were detailed and helpful. I highly recommend this workshop.

Great workshop. Showed just how easy it is to do it yourself, showed up tips and tricks on how to make the different patterns then let us choose the background and stencil to choose, also what colours we wanted to use.The class flew by and was a great time. A couple of people had kits at home, but had never made anything and said they will definitely try again.Will definitely try something like this again.

Absolutely amazing! Would 100% recommend this terrarium class. Beautiful cozy setting with lovely materials to plant and display jar is just right. The sustainability was nicely explained. The class was very well planned and each step was explained really clearly. The end result will last years and is now proudly on display!

Pyrography Workshop - Charcuterie Board
Fantastic class with Vicky learning how to do pyrography by burning designs into a charcuterie board! Very relaxed atmosphere and excellent host while we worked away on our boards. Loved being able to bring my own design, while my partner was able to pick from a curated selection of templates on the day. Definitely recommend and would do again, five stars, 10/10 etc!

Vicky is an excellent teacher and explained the process before we started and gave us scrap wood to practice on. We were given beech charcuterie boards to work on and she had files with lots of designs to use. I wanted to put a hedgehog on my board and there wasn't one in the file. So she found a design online and printed it off for me. She gave us lots of hints and tips plus plenty of encouragement.

Ella and Vicky were great. Session was well organised with lots of options for personalising your terrarium. Venue was easy to find and we had plenty of space. Enjpyed a drink form the bar and chatted to some nice people on our table of 6. The finished terrarium looks great too

Me and my 9 year old daughter thoroughly enjoyed the paper quilling class! The quilling itself is equally therapeutic and satisfying, and Vicky was great, catering to all of our needs! Moments after stepping foot outside the door of the workshop, my daughter asked if we could come back again next week!

We took 4 people, Class was wonderful, V was a great teacher, very easy to communicate with before the class, and patient and helpful during. There was opportunity to practice techniques and choose design, as well as sealing the wood to make sure it would last and be food safe. Comfortable environment both at the studio and with V’s energy, and was greeted with true northern hospitality- an offer of tea! Would 100% book with her again!

I've used common room previously and decided to book a class for my sister's baby shower, as a present. It was a small, private class and everyone said that they really enjoyed it. Everything was provided and Ella was a great tutor. Definitely recommend.

Vicky was an amazing host, talking us through the biology of terrariums before instructing us on how to construct our own. The materials and plants provided were varied and abundant. This was such a good event to do as a team - it was cathartic, yet allowed us all to talk while we were constructing our terrariums.Thank you Vicky for a brilliant experience!
