Lovely class, and the tutor was generous with individual as well as group guidance. At first it was hard to see how a thin strip of silver could be turned into a ring, but once curled into a circle, heated with a blowtorch to seal, then gently beaten with a hammer into an interesting texture, it all came together.

So at the start, we were not offered gloves for hygiene. Also we were not offered the gold choice, only silver was given out. An 1 hour after the class my partner asked, "so there is no gold option?" and the host responded "yes but you didnt ask me to prepare it in advance". Making personalized rings was fun! I will say the class was pretty full so it felt a bit rushed at the end. But my ring came out beautifully and is something I will treasure.

There were good intentions for this class but turned out not what I expected. We were in the back of a community hall, there was no protective gear at all and the class felt very rushed. It would’ve been nice to be a bit more personable and have some music. For the price point I don’t think it’s worth it at all.
