Really enjoyable session of learning how to paint with watercolours. As complete novices, we were given excellent guidance from Sarah, who was friendly and professional throughout. All materials were provided, and we all left having had a lovely time. Whether you're a budding artist or simply looking for something different to do, I'd certainly recommend.

Took my sister as a treat for puppy sitting... she hasn't painted since leaving school... we are late 50s so some time ago! Sarah is so good she wasn't out of her depth as the tuition is brilliant... we were both delighted with our paintings and found it so relaxing and enjoyable x it's my third class I am addicted!

Every day is a school day you think you know how water colours work then they do the unexpected. Sarah’s demonstration on what could go wrong and how to avoid disappointment. I fell into every pit fall but still ended with something I would hide.

Both me and my daughter had a fabulous day. After a beautiful walk along a woodland path collecting inspiration for our journal, we returned to the studio for a relaxing day of watercolour painting.
Sarah was so knowledgeable about plants trees and nature that we learned so much, which we then documented in our journal.
A delicious lunch was provided along with tea, coffee and juice to keep us all going strong..
It really was the perfect day.

What a lovely day spent with Sarah at her nature journaling workshop. After a wonderful introduction to nature journaling, we explored the beautiful grounds and collected ideas from everything around us. We then returned to the studio to sketch and paint, which was so enjoyable. The lunch was delicious too.
It was a fantastic experience and I learned so much that I can take away with me. It felt like a real pause from busy life and a beautiful chance to reconnect with nature.

It’s just nice to sit back and learn something new in my local Pub, and chat to my friend at the same time. plus it wasn’t over crowded plenty of arm and elbow space and no pressure, to complete it. I do intend to finish it and will send you a photo once done.

This was a very enjoyable introduction to drawing with ink pens and using watercolour washes. You will be guided step by step through the main principles and at the end you will be able to incorporate the techniques you have learnt into an ink and watercolour painting. Sarah is very supportive and gives you many tips and techniques. This was a great gift, I loved the sessions and I plan to sign up for more classes with Sarah.
