Marina was very knowledgeable and we had a great time. Her place is really lovely a d she offers tea and snacks before starting. I feel like I left knowing a lot more about candles, scents, essential oils and what to look for when buying or making candles that are ethical/vegan. All of Marina's products (Fais Botanicals) are thoughtfully made and smell amazing.
We left with lovely personalized candles. I would definitely recommend this class to a friend and would love to return to another workshop one day!

I booked this class as a birthday present for my girlfriend whose recently got into making candles at home. We had a lovely time with Marina in this class! It was a nice, relaxed atmosphere and Marina talked us through every step of the way.
We went away with two candles of our own creation, a great memory of making these together, and my girlfriend learned several new tips on how to make the best scented candles!

My husband and I went to the workshop and Marina was very welcoming. She explained each step clearly, from melting wax to blending essential oils and pouring into the glass jars. I loved experimenting with fragrances and creating a personalized candle. A fun, eco-friendly experience that left me with new skills.

Warmly welcomed, by our host, Marina, with a cool drink or a lovely cup of herbal tea!!! Our table was prepared with all the utensils we would need for our lesson. After introducing ourselves, Marine proceeded to inform us of the intricacies of candle making. Thorough information on, wicks, fragrances, essential oils and the different waxes. temperature etc. So much information in such a short time. Marina then helped us with the 'Notes', top, middle and bottom, and explained each section perfectly. The smells were beautiful. After making our candles, so so proud, we were given a tour of her work studio and her products, together with a little history of her business. We learnt that candle making is not just melt and pour, a little science is needed. We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. Definitely a must for all new candle makers. Thankj you Marina.

We had a luxury candle making workshop by Marina for a hen party and it was just brilliant! Marina was super accommodating with a few extra guests we had a few weeks ahead of the class which was great. She came to our house with plenty of time to set up and everything looked professional and exciting when we started the workshop! We each had materials for the candle and an info sheet and Marina spoke excellently with some background about essential oils and candle making. We leant all about notes then had a chance to smell the oils before choosing combinations for our candle and weighing them out. Marina was helpful, calm and friendly throughout which made the experience so enjoyable and we each came away with a brilliant looking and smelling candle at the end. Thanks so much!

The atmosphere is very friendly and chill. We learned a lot from Marina as a teacher armed with her “nose for the business”. Both me and my boyfriend really enjoyed Marina's workshop. She's super knowledgeable about aromatherapy, essential oils and natural products in cosmetics and candle making, and I left the class with a lot of insight and inspiration to start using aromatherapy for my own wellbeing. The candle making and blending the scents itself was really fun and she gave a lot of good guidance to help everyone along the way, and in the end we all parted with a beautiful homemade candle. Her home is also beautiful and perfect setting for the class, with some nice snacks and tea/coffees available too.
