What you'll do
This is a great way to get to grips with machine sewing, showing you how to craft a unique drawstring bag. It’ll be perfect for adding a stylish, reusable element to gifting in the future, with a beautiful ribbon tie to help you close it up.
This sewing workshop is designed for beginners, introducing you to basic sewing techniques that will broaden your crafting know-how. Use your sewing machine to transform the fabric included in your craft kit into this classic mini drawstring bag.
The Hobbycraft colleague will guide you through each step of the project, answering any questions and sharing tips and tricks. From using the template and cutting out fabric pieces to pinning and stitching the bag together, this workshop is a great way to get to grips with all that’s involved in machine sewing.
You’ll come away with a charming handmade bag that will add a beautiful touch to your gift wrap, with a simple drawstring closure! Fill it with a thoughtful present or use it to store your jewellery and more.
